I understand but at the same time (im European) shocked by the horror stories i read from Americans that go bankrupt because they have medical issues. Mind that im not educated on American system. Its completly different thats all i know.

I agree but what has changed since the 1950s or.something around that time? Wasnt this.always the case? I only know we changed the age when children had to go to school 2 years earlier a few decades ago ( im not sure when.) And we have just less freedom in general i think. everything was just more "free range" so to say in the past because we had less rules and regulations. Trying to pinpoint exactly what has changed and caused this.
