Could I suggest you record the lecture? It might be interesting for the boys that wanted to go. I personally would also be interested whether the talk is really just a talk about motivating people to go and study engeneering or if there is some other agenda as well.

I'm not trying to defend this as a whole (I find the comics ridiculous), but this might have been an intent since they later say "It keeps people locked in rigid gender roles".

I pretty much agree with your point. But by the table from the document you linked, the number in "Estimated Deaths" section seems to be slightly higher for breast cancer (40230), not prostate (32050). On the other hand, the numbers in the "Estimated New Cases" section are higher for prostate cancer (217730) than for breast cancer (209060)... but maybe I'm just misinterpreting the data.
