In my job, women make up the most workers but males make up the most leadership positions. I don't get why anyone would use imperial besides because of history. There are a lot of reasons to use metric, mainly conversion. Every unit is 1 to 10, at which point you (may) use the next unit. It's as simple as that. Cubic centimeters even convert easily to freaking liters. I can tell you exactly how big a container has to be in centimeters to hold 50 liters for example. Try doing the same with inches, feet and gallons off the top of your head.

height I've never known a more confusing scale for height. I mean, it goes from 1 to 12 and that's a foot more. It's really weird and difficult to find out how 5 feet 11 inches relates to 6 feet and 3 inches. Meanwhile, in metric that's just 180cm to 190cm. Then again, maybe that's just because we use metric for everything. Weight, height, distance, volume, there isn't a single unit that's not 1=10=100=1000 and so on, or a few zeroes more like from meters to kilometers.
