Seems like a reductionist way to view life. Obviously don't obsess over past trauma and mistakes, but surely it's beneficial to assess and discover why you behave the way you do. How are you to change your behaviour overall otherwise?

I mean yeah it is, but if you're not getting a lot of action regularly I don't think the brain's really wired to do that?

It sounds like he's a closet homosexual? Who the fuck talks like that, he likes beating up short men and rabbits on about dominating little boys? AA that shit, sounds like a closet fag or a paedo; wind him up with that, and then you've got an excuse when he throws down on you 😂. Additionally, he's 5'10 and thinks he's big? Sounds like he's got a Napoleon complex or some shit. 5'10 is pretty much bang on average height in the UK. If you're in the States or Western Europe, I think it's actually sl…

You need to tell your parents to fuck off when it comes to this health condition. The pressure they're putting on you, especially the garden work when you're in the midst of a flair is down right retarded. Your mother also sounds completely retarded, as for the vast majority of people with IBD the only things that are going to help are regular exercise when you're able to do so, keeping your diet low in insoluble fiber foods and finally finding as many ways as possible to manage stress and negat…

As someone with an auto-immune disease, she's likely on that to stop flare ups of coldsores. Most people have that virus, but in people with normal functioning immune systems the virus is often suppressed. People with compromised immune systems instead tend to get a coldsore flare up when their conditions flare up. Wouldn't say that was evidence of skankyness, aside from leaving her husband for Chad..😂

I agree with this sentiment somewhat, however, I would make the addition to say therapy is bullshit if you're already of an introspective character. I believe that if you're introspective, you're constantly assessing and reassessing your life and often know what needs to be done to improve your situation. With that being said, however, lots of people aren't naturally introspective and I feel they may often struggle to think objectively about themselves or even give a voice to the sentiments they…

I didn't infer that he was making a point about caring about the things you can't control, maybe I've misread it. But to me, it appears he's discussing allowing yourself to forgive yourself for poor actions in the past, and the things that weren't perhaps necessarily in your control, and take responsibility for those things you can affect a change upon in the present?

I'd say your answer is there. She's bored and not getting enough attention, so it's triggering memories of this online beta 'friend' who would provide her all the attention she needed without face-to-face interaction in the past. By bringing it up, it sounds like she's hamstering the justification of re-engaging contact with this guy. When you made your position clear, she reacted realising the fuck up, but it sounds like she was shit testing you? I'm not sure what the solution to that is though…

Don't say it's a rash for the love of God, or fungus. If it even comes up, which it won't unless you bring it up, it's eczema - dry skin is normal, fungus is not.

Have you tried bluntly saying something along the line of - "Are you going to keep talking over me, or are we actually going to have a conversation." Or "Are you meaning to be rude, or do you simply just like the sound of your own voice?"

It sounds like you've fucked up a bit man, but that's not the end of the road and you don't need to be feeling suicidal about it. You can either try and salvage the situation to the best of your ability, or move on with your life and make the best of the position you are in. It sounds cliché, but you've got to fuck up from time to time. It's a good thing you feel shitty about it, use those feelings to power yourself forwards in your next endeavour if things go south at this internship. Life is l…

In fairness, I actually ended the relationship, but you're correct, I did so because the tingles were no longer there because of my perceived loss of frame coming to terms with the new normal regarding my health. She became cold to me within a few months of my diagnosis and the dawning realisation that this wasn't going to be something that was quickly fixed.

I thought about this considerably, but I'm not exactly excited by the income potential of teaching? Perhaps I'm wrong in this outlook, but it seems to me to be an occupation that's high in occupational stress with very little financial return? I'm wanting something that has an opportunity for considerable growth as I gain experience.

Because of the UC, the UK Pre-employment medical standards basically say that you're unlikely to be a suitable candidate if you suffer from Inflammatory Bowel Disease as chronic conditions often have an unpredictable course and relatively high surgical intervention rates.

The Spartan's also realized this to be incredibly true of their men. Plutarch mentions that "Such interviews (meetings with women) not only brought into exercise self-restraint and moderation, but united husbands and wives when their bodies were full of creative energy and their affections new and fresh, not when they were sated and dulled by unrestricted intercourse; and there was always left behind in their hearts some residual spark of longing and delight."

Cheers for the advice brother. Luckily not necessarily in the situation as of yet. Hopefully I placed my trust in the right place, however I'm sure the situation will become clearer as time passes, much like the French revolution.

Woah that's fucking disgraceful. In regards to evidencing consent also, if I received a form of written consent or could evidence written consent, (i.e electronic messages) or that I was assured the woman was using contraception. Would there be a valid defense?
