I read the article, and that's a ton of personal info a victim MUST hand over that may not be relevant to the investigation. Simply in order for the police to proceed with the investigation. The UK is unbelievably soft on crime. I read about their months-long sentences for murder, rape, aggravated assault, and grand theft and just don't get it. Their prisons are a revolving door. Making things tougher on the victim to report a crime is not the direction the U.K. needs to go. The UK needs to star…

Yeah the old Appeal to Authority ruse would have us all fall in line with anyone who has published a best-seller or gotten on the best-seller list.

These are legitimate concerns of yours. I am not sure this is the right subreddit for them. How does this connect with Mens Rights? Mens rights to what, FWB?

Much that I witnessed back when I was dating is now explained to me. The light has turned on, thanks to WAATGM. No more doubt, confusion, or ignorance.

I love that this group gives the real 411 on what is going through women's minds. The source code, so to speak. Totally believable confession. Anyone here still pay for dates?

When I click that link I gave you, your subreddit is nowhere in the results. Whereas /r/wherearethegoodmen appears at #9. However, my search specifically is for "where are *all* the good men." Yes, I call foul, if you see it and I don't, then the algorithm is hiding your sub from everyone but Mods and perhaps regulars. Perhaps that is why your sub has not broken six figures yet? In addition, most of the results, let's just say they are not particularly male-friendly.

On a related note, your community "Where Are All the Good Men?" is BURIED from search results. The Left will also use algorithms to enact de facto censorship.

I think you're mistaken, they are going to bury the story as much as they can with new stories concerning some alleged wrong-doing by a male celebrity. And the public will forget.

That is disturbing, but Reddit is a magnet for man-haters. This is obvious to me after just over a year on the site. There are certain forms of hate permissible on Reddit, and then certain ones that are considered unfashionable at this time.
/r/MensRights27/05/22 05:44 PM

There is allowed hate speech (Left Wing), and banned hate speech (Right Wing). The Left now chooses which hate speech is permissible.

That's a common tactic on the Left, reporting you for psychological instability to Reddit. If the Left had its way, ideological nonconformists would be confined in a psychiatric hospital and force-fed anti-psychotic medication to turn us into complacent zombies.

Hilary was definitely a hawk, eager to spend money overseas. Unfortunately there are not a lot of examples of women leading nations, although this is changing in the modern era. I am not sure how we would characterize Merkel, the Queen, end E.U. defense ministers as war-mongers unless you refer to the Coalition of the Willing and other limited actions.

I do not know who this guy is, but you lost the Christian crowd already. I like the concept overall though. Maybe add a name so that we out-of-touch old fogeys know what you are talking about, and use a different artwork that doesn't trespass on Jesus? Then again this is atheist Reddit, what am I talking about.

This post refers to one of the zanier child support laws in the West, I forget what the term for it is. Basically gives legal clout to a woman that marries a second man, for financial support, and that man tries to break free later...the law can come after him, and say, well, you had sex with her, so now there are payments you must make every month, for another man's child who did the same thing.

I think this sort of thing should be left to the child to decide, not sure what age, maybe twelve, but they ought to be capable of explaining their decision and their understanding of the biological and physical consequences to a judge. In some states, custody in a divorce is also decided by the child, so there is a legal precedent.

Criminal defense is extremely expensive--all law is. Financial ruin is guaranteed, meanwhile the woman snickers to herself with her little revenge, while dating other men who don't know or care or understand the past history.

I mean, that's true, a valid observation of a trans man that once was a woman. I think a trans man would be best qualified to discuss the differences they notice socially post-transition.

Subs vary, this seems rather moderate and more focused upon actual egregious miscarriages of justice, where the pendulum has swung far too much into the realm of misandry. The Left is where you find censorship, intolerance, and self-righteousness to the greatest extent, at least here on Reddit.
/r/MensRights18/05/22 08:22 PM

I would expect there is heavy-handed moderation over there, because feminists are keen to shoot down anything a man says or does, and women too if they go against the party line.

The mainstream media disdains men, all men really, but those of the Caucasian persuasion most of all. Every other news story, article, and opinion piece is something bad about men, and how-to help guides and pep talks for women.

Your mileage may vary, but also worth considering is that the woman is perfectly willing to say goodbye to country, home, and hearth for the sake of material gain. That demonstrates quite a lot of flexibility, independence, and mobility psychologically, the same that could be directed to divorce.
/r/MensRights12/05/22 04:47 PM

Green cards. Beware of women that just want to improve their financial outlook. A Swedish man in Thailand is going to find a lot of gold-diggers eager for a better life in a First World country with a generous social safety net. Who wouldn't jump at the chance. Once she gets the citizenship, the risk for divorce arises.

The news media, social media and popular culture have reinforced the inhibition I already had and made it seem like the most sensible course of action. Never approach a woman, never attempt conversation with a woman that you do not know. Nevertheless, I've done it many times in the past and have achieved, if that's what we should call it, a fling that way, but nothing long-term.

In a world where every group is unionizing, being in a non-union group has too many disadvantages, and everyone here pretty much recognizes that. The women's union has grabbed a bunch of rights and privileges and keeps on agitating for yet more over and above equality and into superiority.

I have not noticed excessive posts on the abortion issue. You are never going to find uniformity in a subreddit on much of anything other than possibly the main topic. Even there you will find diversity of opinion. The main thing to hope for is that people will be civil when disagreeing.

That is what brought us all here. There is a perception that powerful and influential cultural forces are engaged in dumping on men. We see this here on Reddit quite obviously, one does not have to look very far. We see it in the media, in schools, in academia, in corporations, in the legal codes, in insurance rates, in insurance coverage, in the military draft, pretty much everywhere a double standard at play,

Schools have become left-wing indoctrination camps in many Democrat-led states. Identity politics is the main course of study in all of the social subjects, and textbook authors even try to sneak the subject into math problems and science textbooks. Anytime you have a successful man, a lawyer sees that as an opportunity for a shakedown. I was going to specify a "wealthy" man, but just having a little money saved for retirement is viewed as a sufficient treasure chest for a lawyer to plunder on behalf of their client.

Social researchers find out what they want to believe. They are never surprised by their own data. In many instances, they pull the data from their behind. Then they serve up their cooked numbers to politicians, news media and corporate heads to give them "scientific" excuse to do what they already want to do anyway. Policy changes must be blessed by the Priests and Priestesses of Science.

Never critique the appearance of anyone is a good general rule of etiquette. There is not much that anyone can do about their physical appearance, they are stuck with it for the duration. This is not a man or woman thing, however, women are acutely sensitive about their appearance and believe that their appearance matters more than their content.

If you have identified a trend spread wider than a single Subreddit (which I never heard of) then it might have to do with the instinctive Need-a-Man that arises anytime war drums get loud, as they are in Ukraine. The male stock skyrockets in times of peril, plummets in times of safety.

Perhaps this is the case, it may that women do indeed seek that financial criteria, that is their primary motive in dating men. If that is the case, the single man is infinitely better off remaining single. Marrying a woman that is interested primarily in the model of car, house, neighborhood, salary is not a recipe for happiness. There are a ton of unhappy marriages in this world.

I disagree, general fitness is enough, not looking like a pregnant woman. Being able to keep up, walk anywhere, have zest and enthusiasm for life, and not a big paunch. You notice the main thing the woman mentions is her husband is 60# overweight. Muscles and blubber is still blubber. All he has to do is get off the couch and go for walks.

It is not easy on the dating apps - I got plenty of dates, but no relationship. The women on the apps, I found to be jaded, cynical, hypocritical, paranoid, judgmental, avaricious (I must pay for everything and do all the driving and put forth all the energy all the time) and employing double standards on a regular basis. Where we agree is enjoying this sub for the perspective it offers on online dating, women's unrealistic/hypocritical expectations. I also agree you were right to avoid being used by that woman. She was stringing you along with sex in the hopes you bail her out for her poor decision in getting knocked up by a ne'er-do-well criminal. She should have gotten her tubes tied long ago, it is not society's or your responsibility to bail her out. The difference is you are up for casual and I go for relat…

Yes, in fact I wrote a guide to online dating. I do not recommend any particular service for everyone, because each individual has their own preference, based upon what they are seeking, and the nature of the app. You seem interested in casual sex, so Tinder's your app. I would not steer you to one where women seek LTRs. If you decide on your own that LTR is what you really want, you will need to make changes in your approach and mindset, and that is not something I or anyone on the internet can…

People tend to overrate looks, but interpersonal factors control whether a relationship can survive the long haul. This is someone you live with, eat meals with, sleep with. You want someone pleasant, kind, reasonable, smart most of all. Not someone that is going to use you or abuse you.

She is not doing herself any favors with the cheap red plastic (?) beads, Clark Kent glasses, dyed red hair, and cranberry print shirt. Frankly, she reminds me of the Wendys mascot. The best thing a man can do for his happiness, as far as dating goes, is look beyond looks. A woman is more than a body. Look at character, intellect, maturity, honesty, morality. These things are far more important than looks.

What happens is they screw around with guys they do get the tinglies for, but those guys don't necessarily feel the same way, instead they just want a casual screw, and if she gets pregnant, guess what, that's her problem. She did these guys a huge favor by dropping them. I hope the guys understand and appreciate that in hindsight, if not right away. Each of the guys dodged a bullet. Imagine if she went out with one of them, pretended to feel something, just went through the motions, and the stupid guy fell in love, proposed marriage, and got hooked to this emotionally dead inside, bored and lonely user of men.

She used to be this pretty young thing that men would lavish with gifts and attention, and she felt no need to be generous, caring or affectionate in return. She could be bitchy, unpredictable and selfish and get away with it because of her youthful beauty. She's got a long, lonely, barren stretch of desert to trek through. She's looking for her male camel, may she never find such a pathetic dupe...

I wish I had learned all this at an early age. I thank God things did not work out with the women I dated earlier this year. I have become acquainted with a good one I believe, not cynical or manipulative. The other women were much like the ones that get posted here. Users and parasites of men.

Make-Up, Football, Bars, and Crime. What a w/holesome broad. Is that watching crime or doing it? Presumably her high I.Q. allowed her to get away with whatever it was she did. Cooking, sure, cooking up trouble. She's short, like child-short. Probably piles on the make-up to look like a teenager, and in the dim light of the bar, maybe she gets away with it sometimes in the eyes of drunks. I used to be puzzled why women complain online about men so much, but now I see what sort of men they are cavorting with. Small wonder they have a jaundiced view of guys. The good ones they exclude right away, for being sober, kind, wholesome, and gainfully employed. Yucko, in their view, because they're...not.

The pendulum will swing back to the way things were in the 1800's. The U.S. is really not in great financial shape anymore. It seems the only plan Washington, D.C. ever has is printing more money. That type of answer only works so many times.

Realistically, if there is no government support, what happens is pregnancy becomes a cycle. Some women would view this as the easy way out: eighteen years of relative financial security in exchange for surgical removal of the minimum number of parts required to make sterilization permanent rather than fixable. Then she can ho without any worries except STDs. Our affluent society can at least offer what Animal Control offers to its cats and dogs.

That was a stupid question. Almost every guy wants a relationship. The real difficulty is in finding the few guys that don't. Obviously, this young Kween excludes 95% of all men, and only looks at the remaining 5%, who she thinks is attractive/rich/popular, and these guys only want poontang and nothing else. Boo hoo hoo. Dating profiles are the right place to list all the things you used to own. People are very interested in that. If you can upload a spreadsheet, all the better. Never let a single inch of skin got untatted. People love to read graffiti scrawled all over your body like you're an abandoned building.

Some of the women on dating apps are such poor writers, lacking discipline and emotional maturity, that they write diatribes against their ex(es) rather than imagining what their future mate could be like--and more importantly, just what they have to offer him, even if imaginary or hypothetical rather than real. In this case, it is difficult to see what is offered other than two hundred pounds of trouble.

Yes, and all this jealousy over "perfect people" and "perfect families" on Facebook is ridiculous, no one is perfect and as you noted, much that is presented for the public consumption is total fabrication. Whether on Facebook or not, people put on a happy mask in public. Money is motive #1 to watch out for but "stability" is another, a distant second along with social respectability, having a +1 with them in public so that they "appear successful and important."

This is why it is best not to woo a woman. If a woman requires wooing, through flattery and gifts, then she is not into you, but into her personal cult of narcissism, and any relationship formed with be temporary in nature. Better to remain single and keep your dignity then wind up in a bad relationship with someone that is going to take advantage.

Bartenders usually make O.K. money from tips and whatnot. It is not a job I would want to do (hanging around drunks all day) but, as you point out, there are "perks". I knew a bartender that got married, and his wife was always after him to make more money, make more money, while using the credit cards and racking up debt herself. That is the type woman you are going to meet as a bartender, someone that is 100% materialistic, that is why they drink in the first place.

I quite agree, this modern tendency to refer to everything as a disease or genetic is really a refusal to own up to any amount of personal responsibility. Human beings do have something known as willpower and should manifest this will to do what is right and good.

I just feel like some women were blessed in the face, but not in the brain, and that's why they're toting around kids and don't know who the daddy is. It is not that difficult to avoid children if you understand the biology and techniques available to the modern person. One of those techniques is "abstinence" and another is "non-POV sex". Those happen to be 100% effective.
