As far as I know (i.e. by law in my country) infanticide by definition can only be committed by a woman against her recently born child. If you are not the mother the same act is just a normal homicide and carries normal penalties.

That paternity tests exist doesn't necessarily mean they can always be used. In my country tests are not admissible unless performed with the female parent's approval.

You shouldn't have to apologize for calling out feminism on this. The idea that men are worse than worthless is very much a feminist idea and is at the heart of this woman's actions. If she'd killed her black children over concern for her white child nobody would attack you for suggesting racism, and a (fortunately hypothetical) powerful racist movement, was responsible.

That can't explain why this imbalance has developed over the last 30 years. If anything there are far fewer labor jobs in western economies now and so men should have been going into university at higher rates than 30 years ago. Actually I expect both men and women are going to university at a higher rate but the female rate has increased even more.

Maybe. Let's make it a public issue and change the law if that's what people want. As it stands there are plausible reasons for the current laws so I think enforcement is fine.

Things I agree are less clear cut when ages are closer, but when there is also a power difference one party loses the legal ability to consent. Even if they do factually consent it's invalid legally and for good reason.
