The father of my former roomates' boyfriend was in the hospital cause he was dying of cancer. It was pretty likely that he was about to die at the weekend, but this girl still decided to go on a vacation trip with her "girls", cause "they had planned this trip for a while". The boyfriends father died and his girlfriend of about 5 years wasn't there for him in one of his hardest moments of his life.
