Waking Up by Sam Harris is one of the best books I've read on mindfulness and philosophy. It's well written but takes a couple reads to fully digest. The first chapter is available for free as a podcast episode. Link: https://samharris.org/podcasts/chapter-one/

Cousin, sibling, and tribal marriages were a cultural aspect of bedouin life in the Middle East and long before the rise and decline of the Muslim intellectual community. Lest we forget Abram and his wife/sister Sarah, the inbreeding of the ancient Egyptians, or other examples from Jewish, Muslim, and Christian myths. Was Islam destructive to the Middle East, absolutely. Were certain races inherently drawn to it because of genetics, No. Islam was designed to conquer and conquer it did. There was…

Except that the behavior of racial groups differ depending on the culture with which they subscribe and the environment they are currently experiencing. In this way the areas of success emphasized by culture influence resource allocation by the individual. We see clear examples in the evolving behavior of immigrant groups and their divergence from the behaviors which are common in their native lands. Also, an overview of history demonstrates the severe swings which are possible in group behavior…

The IQ gap concept from the 1800s (Blacks can't do math etc) has been debunked. The claim that there are IQ distribution differences between racial groups is scientifically supported. That doesn't mean that certain races are superior or inferior just that certain groups (Ashkenazi Jews and East Asians) have higher average IQ levels than other groups (Blacks and Latinos). You still have smart individuals and dumb individuals in all racial groups. Sam Harris had an excellent and in-depth podcast w…

For intercourse/mentality read The Sex God Method. For Oral skills read the second half of She Comes First. The first part is complete male subservient bullshit so don't read it. Bonus: Practice on prostitutes. They'll give you a low risk opportunity to get better. If that is illegal where you live and your not willing to take the risk, take a vacation to somewhere like Australia or certain parts of Nevada where it is legal.

Test isn't bad for joints. As you age your HGH levels crash which is a serious contributer to the fact that old people have joint issues and heal injuries slower.

Well for a first post this could have gone better. To be honest, I was hoping for a point/counterpoint style discussion on the article and its content rather than simple emotional backlashes and personal attacks towards me. Maybe I should have described it better. I hope someone found it interesting. Regardless, when I next see something I think can enrich the community I'll post again regardless of the potential reaction.

The performance-diminishing point you raised is confirmed in the article where the author makes claims regarding changes in sexual activity as a results of sustained porn exposure. As far as the language used in the article it is written by an expert for Skeptic a media source reliant on dense, accurate wording. This article comes to a negative conclusion regarding porn and our instant gratification culture, but demonstrates how the more extreme claims regarding porn consumption have not yet bee…

The point of my posting this wasn't to claim that porn is good or bad but rather to encourage a more accurate understanding of its impact. When did facts and actual research become so threatening around here? As far as benefits it has some of the same benefits as other activities involving ejaculation namely reduced prostate cancer risk. If you have a legitimate criticism of the article then by all means express it. It does go over possible drawbacks of porn consumption just in a more balanced manner. It also references those studies which are used to classify porn as a destructive vice. I thought it would be useful for discussion due to its content and its source. Responding with an unfounded personal attack is unnecessary and benefits no one.

That is some of the worst advice I've ever heard. STD's are prevalent and not using protection with your side chicks only increases the risk for you and all women in your life. Where are you getting the idea that the pull out method is more effective than condoms? Do you have any scientific sources to back your position?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
