| 18 | Saddening truthMy brothers long time girlfriend got pregnant on purpose after he joined the military. She was afraid he'd realize that he was headed for bigger and better things that didn't include her. Because she gave birth to his first born, my brother was unfortunately under her spell. So he believed her when she said it was in his best interest to go AWOL and run away to our mothers house. He ended up in military prison. She ended up overdosing on drugs.
