Even your own link doesn’t support what you said. You’re the one making shit up.

Literally none of them from reputable sources that I saw say that. Here’s a trustworthy article that is actually about her experience. Tucker said she could not calculate how much money she and her family had spent on lawyers, travel and necessities from the prison commissary during the decade she was married to Phillips. “To me, marriage was for life, and I was going to be with him forever, and we were going to get through this — or so I thought,” she said. The divorce, she said, had been reque…

She didn’t get shit for divorcing him the first time, captain assumption.

So by your logic… her husband gets blackmailed and pleads guilty to crimes he didn’t commit (thereby a coward who’s setting the true perpetrator free, but that’s moot) and his face and name is plastered all over the media. Regardless of why he took the plea, as far as his wife knows at this point, he’s fuckin guilty. So the state has intervened in her life, slandered her family name, locked up her husband- taken away the main income from their family- and you think she should be a good little wi…

I don’t think she should be getting any of his compensation. How did >300 of you find this line so esoteric? But yes.

Good work, you did slightly more research than the rest of the mob- you read the first search result. His DNA was found, in fact. It’s just that finding DNA once isn’t enough to charge him for 10 more instances. Anyway, none of that is the point. The point is that the wife’s life was severely impacted by this; yeah she shouldn’t be suing him, but she’s totally deserving of compensation. Simple.

It’s the first comment I’ve made that’s getting angry DMs, and I’ve made a lot of comments! Cheers for the support haha, it’s amazing the simple nuance people lack when they’re shouting into the echo chamber. What I said wasn’t even radical at all.

No. You’re just as dense as all the others. I’ve been clear that she shouldn’t have sued him, and am pointing out that her life was ruined by the charges too. It’s a pretty simple concept.

Oh sorry. She should stay with the man who pled guilty to molesting or worse 60 women across 11 instances…? With no way of knowing his innocence (his DNA was found too, it’s not like he was tried shoddily- tried and found guilty twice already before his own guilty plea) she is very much a victim of having her partner wrongly incarcerated. You think she would have divorced him if he wasn’t locked up?

Cheers bruh, I appreciate you. The dude pled guilty to multiple counts after being tried and found guilty twice - and his DNA was on one woman (who accused him) even if not all the others. What the hell is she supposed to think? As far as I can tell, he wasn’t released for being totally innocent as he was innocent of most of what he served time for.

That’s a given. I’m simply acknowledging that losing her husband would have had major effects on her life. What if he was the sole provider, and then she ends up fucked over too. The charges were significant, he was accused of committing a whole string of sex crimes- and after losing the first two cases, he fucking pled guilty to all the others, so of course she’d believe them. Of course it affected her, and I think her choice of suing Phillips was ill-conceived, she fairly believes she deserves…

In fairness, afaik she thought she was divorcing some kinda sex pest/predator. I don’t think she should be getting any of his compensation, but perhaps she ought to be entitled to some of her own, as her life was almost certainly affected by the false allegations too. Edit: apparently y’all think if you’re married to someone who’s charged for multiple sex crimes, you should stay married to them. lol get fucked.

I’m not ashamed to admit some weirdos out there are sniffing my ball-stank thinking they’ve got some girl’s knickers. Suckers.

It’s not that difficult as a man if you just stop worrying about it. The dudes worried about how many times a girl has boned before them aren’t actually worried about a used pussy, they’re just fuckin’ jealous and intimidated because the girl has more experience than them - and they wanna be the macho sex machine, so they make this “oh it’s easier for girls” excuse. It’s easy for boys too, if you have no standards. You lads are so insecure, though, that you scare off girls who are just after a o…

Just fuckin’ find someone who suits your ideals. Many people don’t give a shit and live their lives not worrying about a side activity in this game of life. If they have a lot of sex, or a little, who gives a toss? You folks going around counting every fuck and worrying about who boned who and how many times belong together. If you want a church girl, go looking in a church, not on the internet or in clubs.

No actually, only him saying that he’ll do everything he can to help her get it. I recall something about her having a new Twitter on which she implied that she at the very least got a good interview, but I think she learned to keep her posts and professional life separate.

You’ll be happy to know Homer actually helped her get a better position after all this. They had a one-on-one and he decided she’s definitely deserving.

“...Later, I learned she had lost her offer for an internship with NASA. This I had nothing to do with nor could I since I do not hire and fire at the agency or have any say on employment whatsoever. As it turned out, it was due to the NASA hashtag her friends used that called the agency’s attention to it long after my comments were gone. She reached out to me with an unnecessary apology which I heartily accepted and returned with my own. After talking to her, I am certain she deserves a positio…
