It does not mean ALL men because if prime Brad Pitt came to them, most would probably say yes. Just look at the Tiktoker MJ Gray who said she would never get married and got engaged recently. The caveat is her fiancé appears to be a rich guy who spoils her. More and more women are aware that adding a man in your life adds a bunch of risks (more likely to be klled, rped or assaulted by a male intimate partner), on top of doing most if not all housework and risking your life during pregnancy. Many…

I am not the one who used the rating system. OP is. However my question remains. Also there are people universally seen as attractive although they might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Same as there are people seen overall as unattractive or average. Otherwise pretty privilege would not exist.

Thank you. You are a 5, not rich and you want 9s? Why would they want you?

I studied in engineering so it’s not as if I was surrounded by « cool » guys. Most of my guy friends are the geeky type. One of them got his first girlfriend at 25. And not because he wasn’t trying before. Getting shredded might work for a subset of women, but most women don’t like overly muscular gym bros either. It’s all about balance. Again, women aren’t as shallow as men seem to think that we are. Or frankly as men are. Some of y’all are crying in here when being clean and groomed would solv…

Yikes. This is basic grooming, something everyone could and should strive towards. Good looking is related to features.

If a man’s dating success depends on his face what about a woman’s? All the things that I have said (being clean, fit, groomed, nice) are things you can work on to be more attractive to your desired group. They are not set in stone like height or features (and even then, there’s a surgery for both- although I don’t recommend). Women know about what it takes to be successful. We also have careers, while taking care of ourselves and being social. No excuses. And if you think I was born good lookin…

Where did I say good looking?

What the « modern » woman has that women didn’t have in the past is the right to choose. Basically before we had to pick a guy for subsistence, at some point we had to settle. Now we have our own jobs/careers which made dating/getting married less of a necessity but more so a nice to have. Our standards grew in response to that. Now OLD doesn’t help because it’s many men competing for a few women due to the gender ratio. But even irl, I am seeing many women in their twenties/ thirties choosing n…

I don’t think so. I have been told my dating standards are too high and I am literally asking for myself in male form.

Yeah I am actually a great cook but I always lie and tell them I can’t and hate cooking.

Rather cats than an ugly loser

Yeah. Which is why FDS has Female Level Up Strategy as a sister Reddit group. Or you will find a lot of FDS users (including yours truly) in health and beauty related subs to glow up and upgrade our careers and finances

There have been multiple films with the ugly average man/super attractive woman. The simpsons, family guy, all of Seth Rogen’s filmography. Also FDS is not about looking for a guy that is much better than you are. It’s about having a minimum requirement (that you yourself meet). If I am clean, cook, good career, workout and attractive, why shouldn’t I expect the same from anyone I am dating?

Jokes on her because at least he claimed Mimi (his previous gf who is black)

Also don’t date men 10 years + older than you! My personal limit is 5.

I have seen that scenario before: super smart high IQ successful woman that settles for a low IQ insecure loser. All cases resulted in DV. So no thanks I would rather be alone.

Yeah I am catholic. I take everything that isn’t directly quoted from Jesus’s mouth with a pinch of salt (and even that). Just because the Bible was written/re-written and translated by sometimes misogynistic men.

I don’t give a f*ck. Any man that I would consider has to earn at the very least 2 times what I make…if not more.

I think it was mainly an act. Drake promotes an image that I think is very far from who he is irl.

Maybe you have a nice aura? Where they feel at ease and comfortable around you but might not be attracted? Because I have had instances were I was approached by a guy and gave him my number not because I saw myself dating him but because he seemed nice and fun to hang with.

Yes it is widely used on Black platforms (the term pickme )

So happy that you got out of it!!! Older men make me want to puke 🤢

Exactly! I don’t lead with that! Because I know that many men fetichize virgins. Some would even go as far as marriage but I don’t want to be with someone whose main attraction to me is due to the fact that I was a virgin!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
