Dunno about where OP is coming from, but as someone who likes the Tates, I didn't like Andrew's attitude in that "final message" video. It seems submissive, like he's begging for mercy and trying to convince people that he's not the bad guy he portrayed himself as to get out of the ban. Where's the top G who doesn't give a fuck about being cancelled? What's with the weird "I am actually against misogyny, please tell everyone about what a nice guy I am" statements? Feels like he sold out.

Yeah, it's almost as if it never was about equal gender representation, there's an other agenda behind pushing female participation in all sectors of society, and the modern feminist machine will never just declare its job done and go away.

"we were both very young. But it became clear to me right away why Jack was so successful with women." Mike Nichols is saying he was young and inexperienced with the world, lacked "social street-smarts", and so at that point he didn't know how to look at successful people and abstract what it was that made them so. He didn't yet understand how to analyse personalities and read human behavior. And yet with Nicholson he still figured out immediately why he was successful with women. Then: "All the…

Occam's Razor. Dunno why no one else here considered this. Seems the most likely explanation, as randon and illogical as women's actions demonstrably are. Also why the thumbs down?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
