Really not sure why that person chose such a source. Now, if you disagree with Merriam-Webster, well I guess that's fair too I don't really know dictionary battles.

Not defending that person's source or whatever, but if you happen to believe Merriam-Webster as a more legitimate source... then stigmata is absolutely a valid plural of stigma.

I am 5'3". I have had this happen to me in real life. People can definitely still be trashy in the real world. The person you're replying to and others saying "I've never seen it, so it must not exist" are just fucking morons.

A teenage girl sent pictures to her teenage boyfriend. He is now charged with receiving child pornography. So, by their logic, they are teaching this girl that she can get any male person in her life in trouble. All she needs is their phone number. Seriously, if you break it down, they literally just handed her the power to put any man in jail and become a registered sex offender. That's one hell of a power to hand to a 15 year old.

incapable of doing no harm. Uhhhh, I think you meant to take away one of them negatives. Or you weren't being sarcastic, in which case, never mind.

Oh I know. I mean, even if we magically made it so parents would buy games that actually fit the ratings that people give video games, that would still leave the large community of adults that act like children with the anonymity mask that is the internet. And you're totally right, women and younger players absolutely get the reactions they do based off their age/gender, respectively. I apologize if I made it sound a bit harsh / like a rant.

In the same vein as OctoBerry, I don't think it's really about the fact that you are a woman. The terrible people that make up a lot of console gaming communities, such as CoD, are fine using any bit of personal information about you as an insult. Now I know you're going to read the next line as harsh, so I apologize in advance. I think women need to get over the name calling on video games. It's not something that just women deal with. Are you the only one's getting sexist jokes made toward you…

This is one of the most heartfelt, reasonable, and genuine things I've read on this site. Enough so to the point where I would be outright distraught if you were trying to stick to your username for this post.

Good to see the young summer flood can even take over small subreddits.
