Our prisons system just sucks entirely. A prison should be either a punishment or a rehabilitation center. As of right now regular prison isn't all that punishing, nor does it help people do better for when they get out. I believe Norway takes the rehab way and they have huge success with it. I would love for the states to adopt that.

If women got a full sentence and men get extended sentences, I would agree men should be treated more like the women in that case, but that's not the reality of the situation. Because for the majority of my time on reddit, I've spent it on a gaming sub for a game I enjoy a lot. Well first and foremost, this happened back in like 2011. Its old and done and there's no influencing it. Secondly, Brock Turner was not with a group out in public physically taking down a woman and stripping her. He abused a drunk girl, on his own, hidden behind a dumpster, not out in the plain open day. Brock Turner got let off easy, yes, but that wasn't because of his gender. You'll find countless more accounts of women getting off with shit like this when a guy would not.
