"[Women] do not hold political, economic, or institutional power." Wrong. Sexism and racism are what they are, there's no such thing as reverse oppression, because it's just oppression. Oppression is as oppression does, no matter who it comes from.

I have this problem where I don't read things before putting them up, one of my residents actually noticed this after I'd put it up the first time...but yeah I talked to my boss about it and she told me ultimately it would be up to me to post it or not based on my discretion.

I talked to my supervisor last night, she was equally offended at the language used and left it up to my discretion. In all fairness, whether I put it up or not, most folks don't see it anyway (poster blindness).

Right on, I can really get behind that "Adults respect others." idea because no matter who you are nobody has it easy, so why not have a basic respect for other people (courtesy!) to make it just a little easier?

I understand her mindset. Being empathetic and depressed can lead to this catastrophic mindset that led her to make the choice to have sex with her boyfriend. However, from what I can see and from what I know about humans in general, we're not mind readers. Her boyfriend could have NO idea what was going on in her head, for all he knew she said yes because having sex might make her (God forbid) feel better about herself and increase her self worth.
