Why do you post here if you already know the answers to everything? People are trying to help you. Quit fighting and pretending that you know anything and just listen.

I said in earlier posts and in my oys. Weights are 3x5 actual. I am in the middle of linear progression. I wnt up 5 lbs yesterday. Will go up 5lbs tomorrow. I don’t really have ego tied into the number. It is what it is. I just used the thing from my gym. It’s funny more comes up just from being challenged by a man. It’s uncomfortable and good for me. Your exact story doesn’t fit but the spirit does. How do you recommend I measure?

PaperAlpha gave me shit about not doing anything about losing money. Thanks. Would have loved someone calling me out several years ago (my business owners groups did not). I am giving you my gold sir. The people in your business group who helped you lose all that money because you are afraid gave you shit. The men here will directly challenge your broken mental models like they challenge mine. I am an indirect faggot like you are (read through my oys). I just have a better business model and don…

Definitely on the first still but I am chugging along. Looking At picture method I am in 15-20% definitely. I don’t want to post a % just to stroke my ego and lie to myself. That’s not why I am here. I’ll get another measurement. Thanks for the feedback.

Think that was someone else. I’m open to the feedback from you and u/sbiii I used the report I got from my gym. Honestly I am in better shape today. Edit - I’ll post it later. Realized it has private info. Not that you really give a shit to see it.

Former CrossFit faggot. Going up 15 lbs a week on big lifts via novice linear progression and not slowing down. I used the certified world health org modeling technique to get my number so it can’t be wrong. Actually I used the inbody scale where you hold onto the sensors at my gym so it probably is wrong.

Ok. Then here is my feedback. Post again tomorrow. Your post says a lot without really saying anything. It is a bunch of story. I judge that you will find more value writing what is going on with you and how you relate to the story, and what action you are taking in your life to move forward. I also stopped by the store after lifting and bought food and got cash for a daughter's trip. Another thing "not allowed" because of special treatment, but these kinds of thoughtful gifts are that daughter'…

Anxiety is caused by your mental state, spiritual state, and actions being misaligned. You're being not being congruent and your body knows it sub-consciously. Very true and well put - Does this fit into my mission? "I live a congruent life by.. , in order to .. " you've wrapped up your self-image in this "successful" outer appearance and get validation from it and see that as your measure of success at life. I am going to merge your two replies into one comment. It's true. I did all this 'work'…

I'm not sure I understand your question. I have thought about that and I am not sure either. Your post resonates with me and I might be projecting, but I hope I add value also. I have addictions that I have dealt with and deal with so I know what that is like. Your OYS reads like an apology note I would write to my dad in college. I know last week you were dealing with being a villain in your wife's frame, and this week low and behold the narrative makes it back around, only this time you real…

I have years of experience in not drinking - DM me if I can be of service. Interested to see how the book works for you I can’t be Superdad if I’m drunk in the middle of the night. Are you still in the villain narrative from last week around this? I am not letting you off the hook by any means, but making sure you are holding it in perspective, and not going tilt because you had a bad night. Still stopping drinking for a while could not hurt if you are having drinking problems.

Those are good questions. As I said to u/rotkohlblaukraut I want my mental state to have a baseline of okayness when the normal parts of my day are going as they normally do. I often see myself thrown off at work from basic conflict with clients (normal shit that comes up in any profession/client relationship) or normal shit tests from employees and vendors. I can find myself spinning out and getting in my head a lot. This happens at home too. Also when I am with my family I often find myself so…

Your humility quote sounds more like fantasy to me. To never have trouble? To never be vexed or fretted? Understood - It is from 100 years ago so I think a bit is lost in the language. I think the quotes you and I posted are more similar than different. to wonder at nothing that is done to me, to feel nothing done against me. to be at rest when nobody praises me, and when I am blamed or despised, be at peace, as in a deep sea of calmness, when all around and about is seeming trouble." That’s a great post. Thank you. I am still at stage 1 - lift, read, find frame. I have gotten ahead of myself and shared vision too many times without follow through. I had the “sex is important in marriage” talk with my wife a few years ago and proceeded to act like a total faggot for the next.. few years. Makes me cringe. Done it at work with different things (we are going to have x discussion every x). I am going to stfu, get strong, and find my narrative to share.

Will do - I think I understand the difference now that you have explained it. I will be alert to examples in life. Big one continually showing up is Covid 19 - where I have asserted an opinion that has given my wife relief and direction. She goes back to it and still asks questions, or reads facebook and gets anxious. There is a way to reassert my stance for our family or provide information rather than going full autist and just STFU, fog or broken record. I can also reassert my stance and prov…

Our popular culture kind of promotes the idea that she does, so many men have to assert their rights, expectations, and boundaries regarding parenting in order to exercise them. The Al Bundy idiot dad. Or the beta sad dad. Or the plow horse. There is nothing special about how you assert these particular rights, expectations, and boundaries; WISNIFG is all about various techniques for doing so, and is the third book on the sidebar for very good reason. Apply it here. Very good advise. Wisnifg is …

This is another symptom of your problem. Get to work. You have a long way to go before MS is the limiting factor in what’s stopping you from being the man you want to be. Look up the Wahls protocol and get strict control of your diet and supplementation. Just because you have MS doesn’t mean you have to be a faggot.

Though she has nicer tits than you. Have you seen my onlyfans? In return for your advice, the one thing I will say is that - as you can see - being a vet means fuck all.. we're all prone to bullshitting ourselves, so don't be afraid to call someone out when you see it and when you do, don't do it meekly - Just call it as it is - 'you're wasting you're fucking time arguing with fucking retards.' I know I am a new guy and you are an vet, so I am willing to be off base here. Take my advice with a pound of salt, and if I am wrong then straighten out my mental models if you want. Also I totally agree Covid is bull crap - I have had the same struggle with the insanity going on in the world. Your post touches on a lot of my work - my dad was/is a total piece of shit, and his dad was apparently of even bigger piece of shit than he was. I spent a lot of time blaming him and then realized one day I am an adult, with an adult body, intellect, finances, relationships etc. That I was an abandoned little fat piece of crap pussy wasn’t my fault, until one day it was. It didn’t reflect on me until it did. Even if I needed a man, I didn’t get one. And I was probably better off without him. I …

I have been thinking about your situation since yesterday and the last few weeks. You strike me as a bright guy - I have read a lot of your writing. This stuff is good to dig into and then integrate into your normal life. Don't get dragged down too far into it or get lost in it. It is probably where I am at in my development, but this seems like the essence of red pill (masculine life). Lift, sidebar, oys build us to be strong enough to get there. I really love this thread that u/HornsOfApathy is going down here and with the comments around u/ancient_resistance the other week when it came up. I decided to go and find it - pardon my failure to understand how to quote in reddit. What’s underneath? I don’t even know. Best guess: a scared little boy running from monsters and bullies. These all point to the same concept - there is the physical truth in the world, and there is my insecure bullshit view of myself. In part it is an outdated view of myself, but your point is taken.
