Circumcision boggles my mind. It is violence against boys and I’m convinced HAS to cause trauma to their psyche that we can’t account for. I will never understand why people will cry about FGM, but not give a second thought to mutilating boys’ genitals. There are so many rules in the Old Testament we don’t follow, but for some reason circumcision is one that is sacrosanct?

And show me some sources for your “female perpetuated gender policing.” All the moms in my life are trying to figure out how to raise boys who are tender and not ashamed of their feelings. In my experience, dads are the ones that are “toughening them up,” are quick to use physical violence for discipline, and have zero empathy for their experiences.
