0	Why does pro choice go right out the window when it revolves around men or children? I don’t spout misandry and see many misogynistic men. I don’t call men misogynistic. Abortions are the surgical option to not be a parent for women. They are not covered. Men have half of their surgical options covered (a vasectomy). So pretty equal. 1	Why does pro choice go right out the window when it revolves around men or children? Humm I did IVF so I got to see my son as a literal 5 day embryo. It’s legitimately just cells with only the possibility of cell division. There are no trademarks of self sufficient life, or thought, or anything. Literally just dividing cells in a circle. We also had five embryos and only one became a baby. So early pregnancy doesn’t mean you’ll have a birth. The clump of cells only gave a chance of a baby.	/r/MensRights	30/06/21 05:11 PM

Feelings and desires matter, because people’s feelings matter, but when they are in opposition to a woman wanting an abortion, those feelings and desires are not equal to the hardships of pregnancy and risk of death birthing a child. First question : Double Homicide In states after the personhood benchmark is met, it is considered double homicide. In Canada where I am from, there is no personhood granted to fetuses until birth. We have no legal cut off date for abortion (however finding a doctor to perform a late term abortion is nearly impossible). So in Canada, killing a pregnant woman is never double homicide. It’s a major medical event that has implications for years, sometimes decades. Just because you see it as an “always option” doesn’t mean that it actually is. Abortion is about the body of the women and the lack of personhood of the fetus. There are no men’s wishes when it comes to a fetus, because the fetus has no personhood.
