I’m a woman and on a first date I wouldn’t pick complaints about men as the ice breaking topic of conversation. Not because I’m not entitled to my feelings but just because of social competence. I think some victims of ephebophillia feel really raped, hollowed out, traumatized, and ruined by it and wouldn’t necessarily agree with you. But I think pedophillia is absolutely appalling obviously and the damage done is deep or deeper. I’m a survivor of rape as an adult and it ruined my life utterly so I think victims can be effected greatly no matter what the age they were when they were raped/molested. They say it’s because this demographic has the fewest consequences to worry about in a physical altercation because the injuries sustained during woman on woman violence are thought to be less than between all the other combinations of demographics and this is something women can predict as their arguments escalate so they are most likely to allow it to get physical. I’m 45 and I’m just speaking out of my personal experience in terms of what has reliably succeeded and failed for me. Could be a generational thing. I don’t really have to try to figure it out any more in since I have the health issue now. Now I need someone willing to make that extra effort out of compassion who won’t feel resentful because of it and that’s how it pretty much has to be or it won’t work.

My Indian friend decides to get married this year and it happened like this. She told her parents she was ready to get married. Now she is. Maybe your parents could hook you up similarly?
