Well then men need to treat other men better. I’m not a man, so that’s not something I have any control over. I only have control over how I treat men and other women. Why am I being attacked for it? No one deserves to be treated like shit.

I said how men compliment each other has nothing to do with me. I can’t control what men say to each other. I never said a single thing about wanting affirmation. Respect. I want the same respect a man gets on the job. You are purposefully incorrectly comprehending what I wrote, so that it fits your own agenda of what you think women believe. I never said I was a victim. I was trying to offer my real life experience to show that not all women are treated as princesses, as you seem to think. I’ve…

I work, as do all of the women I know, unless they are retired. I have never taken money from a man. All dates have been paid Dutch, or back and forth. Sure, some women want men to pay for them, but there are terms for those women, and I refuse to associate with them. I have never wanted to be indebted to a man, and I would be never want a man to be my financial slave.

Are you saying you’re a predator?

How men compliment each other has nothing to do with me. I am aware that men rarely receive compliments due to their looks, but I have heard many praises due to their achievements, as they should. I will always compliment a man when I have the chance, same as I do for a woman. I don’t need constant praise, either. My father never complimented me once, and my mother only criticized me. My friends rarely compliment me either, they mostly put me down. Regarding my height, I’ve had many men tell me …

The same goes to you, but I fail to see how you helped me.

Also, if I’m not a slave to men, then why was I taught to cook and clean up after men. Every holiday is spent doing just that, while the men get to relax and watch sports. My vacation days are filled with catering to men, as it is expected.

How am I slave to feminism? I want my own career and financial freedom. I don’t want to be treated lesser than, just because I was born a woman. How is that a bad thing?

I know men also have it rough, and everyone’s experience in life is different, based on location, friends and family. But to say all women are pampered and praised is untrue, especially if women aren’t valued in their family. Then we are labeled as having daddy issues, and deemed unlovable to many men, because of the stigma. I’m tall, which makes the dating market difficult for me, as well. A lot of the attention I get, that many women get is over-sexualized in nature, as if that’s our only valu…

What are should talking about? I was treated as an inferior growing up, because I was a girl, that I wasn’t as smart or capable as boys. I went into a male dominated field, and have also been treated as an outcast, there.

So, you don’t think women shouldn’t be allowed to have careers? That their only goals in life should be to cook, clean, do laundry and take of their husband and children? I’m a feminist but I don’t believe in superiority. I also believe in men’s rights, and challenges they face, hence why I came here. But in the last few days reading the posts on this sub, it doesn’t seem like you guys want equality, but for women to once again be inferior to men, with less rights. It is so upsetting, and I just…

Not everyone, apparently. Those men refused to believe I was raped, because they couldn’t hear anything. They convinced me not to report it, so I didn’t. It would have been very difficult to prove, anyway.

It is a serious question. The men who were asleep in the other room at the time didn’t believe me, because I didn’t yell out, or fight him, which seems what this thread is about. I never told another person when anything like that happened again in the future, because of not being believed, before. It was more traumatic than the event itself.

I froze up and stayed silent, because I had a knife to my throat. Does that mean I wasn’t raped?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
