Sadly I now hop from camp 1 to camp 2 and back. If someone is willing to defend their ideology with a respectable argument I'm willing to give them an ear and my opinion. This sheep is going to bed for now.

It's not disingenuous if those cases are not outliner exceptions. There difference here is, we have contrasting ideas of how common different type of relationships there are and how often they match the before mention description. I agree with you strongly about the court systems favoritism for women in the context of child care. I'd offer more points of discussion but it is getting late. I may reply later when I have had time to consider so I may present more thought out topics for you to refut…

I appreciate that you took the time to read my chain of discussion points. I came here expecting some down votes and name calling (in which i was not disappointed) but I was not prepared to come across a dynamic conversation, which I was pleasantly surprised to have.

Actually I respond to most critiques of my posts and I do consider what they have to say. I can also say don't point out grammatical errors or attempt to tare down an author of a post because of typos as if grammatical capabilities are strictly associated with reasoning.

Not everyone puts an emphasize on perfect writing capabilities. If you want to disregard my perspective simply because my writing ability isn't up to your scholarly standards then do so. I couldn't care less.

well I feel (incoming opinion) that most disagreements are pretty small. It's just often individuals have a habit of ignoring the similarity between the perspectives because it could be interpreted as a show of weakness in regards to their position. I agree that men are opportunistic in regards to relationships as well, but the difference is that men tend to view sex as a benefit that they can derive from a relationship (and often the only benefit) whereas women tend to look for other benefits a…

I addressed this in my response but I will clarify here. My problem with the law is only the first half of it, I agree partially with the second half. My point is if any part of the law is inaccurate the law as a whole should not be considered a law until it accurately depicts more universal standards.

That's a pretty big jump to make from a statement that "where a female can derive no benefit from association with a male, no such association will occur." I don't see how that precludes men from having control over their own relationships, particularly whether they themselves want to associate with a particular female. Your correct it is a big leap, but my leap was from the first half of the statement not the second. "The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family.…

That is not what the law states but rather your interpretation, the law states "The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family." when in fact relationship are about mutual benefit. I'm not attempting to shame, I just have an inverse opinion as most the points made here. if I was trying to shame I'd simply just say you guys are all creepy pieces of shit and you have terrible mother issues. But if I said that I would be adding nothing to the debate, instead Im express…

It's an insult to men because if assumed to be true, that means men have no control over a relationship because women inherently demand control. Its an insult to women because it is telling them they are controlling regardless of how themselves feel about the situation. Though this may be true to certain animal family paradigms it does not directly relate to humans. I do believe humans react primarily on instinct, but that is only reaction. The great thing about being human is being able to eval…

Your fallacy in is the idea that most women fall under this narrow concept when in fact it is actually a minority. Because that you disregard a valid argument and I wont be able to convince you otherwise since your mind is already made up. Many believe that in fact most women are like the portrait painted by TRP because of the market in which they shop and the idea that most single women are single for a reason. Only those who feel like they have been wronged are going to cry about it, most happ…

The realization that our childhood perception of the world is a very different from the truth is an intense moment for any person and i understand a frustration with the currently political correctness obsession of industrialized society but these are not justifications for concepts such as "You cannot expect a woman to be your true confidant, your soul-mate, and your respite to lean upon during the stormy times in life. That is your role for her benefit. It does not work in reverse, for as soon…

No, my point is TRP uses misleading tactics to try and prove their point. your response is another example of these tactics. NAWALT is a valid point, but it gets disregarded by a lot because its currently a popular feminist buzzword. As much as I hate feminism they have good points rarely and should be considered, just like TRP make some good points but their points get negated by the amount of propaganda. Because the NAWALT argument may be considered cliche it will hold no weight here. No matte…

The problem is well thought out criticism is easily disregarded because your ideology labels said arguments as cliche. If a valid argument is expressed enough yet is completely ignored and becomes a cliche no one will question the arguments validity, they will blindly follow the idea that its a cliche thus have no merit regardless of what the argument is. I do agree with you not giving a fuck about other people is not the same as hating, but i find in this subreddit they often are utelized as th…

Here is just one quote from one of the sidebar "Women are utterly incapable of loving a man in the way that a man expects to be loved." This is not incorrect but is also being misrepresented. From this sentence a young adult could draw the conclusion that women are are incapable, and as a man you need to be aware of it so change your expectations. When in reality its a gender neutral concept. Not all people can love other people the way that person wants to be loved, this goes both ways. I would…

I appreciate your respectful dialogue, its rare to see someone address arguments with something other then "bitter omega is bitter". Though your perception of my perspective is slightly off. I don't just consider TRP not for me, rather I see it as detrimental. Young confused insecure men come to TRP for help and they are given a toolkit that will only further segregate them from society. With that said, I do not feel the entire demographic of TRP are he-man women haters. There are many full grow…

TRP portrays itself as a self help group, yet when you address their tools for said self help, it only helps you because you're a man and all their links are to build you up by tarring down woman. You're not improving yourself if you follow their methods, you're just starting to view others as lower then you. I would accept that TRP is if they actually followed their aim but they don't accept reality, they nitpick and find examples out of context that strengthen their vision of reality when in a…

TRP is the same as feminism. Bitter men who would rather spout hate speech and pseudo science to back up their claims rather then working on human rights. the world view of TRP is inherently flawed, thus any truths you define with this world view likewise are inherently flawed. Sadly what good arguments TRP may bring up will not be considered because the amount of illogical hate speech that follows every good point. no one will take mens rights seriously as long as groups like TRP continue to pr…

If the sidebar is TRP's perception of reallity you're not accepting any truths. but you are right, TRP doesnt play by the rules and DGAF, this mentality is why you guys are defined as a hate group. You'll never grow if you don't accept decent and critically think about it. How can you improve yourself if you dont accept criticism? it's a contradicting ideology. Most guys here base their self improvement off of a animal hierarchy, which is fitting, since most alpha men are dogs; explaining what r…

I feel we need a strong group for male identity, TRP just isnt a healthy role model for us. Only weak philosophy do not allow open discussion and descent. Exposing the illogical fallacies of this subreddit was worth every lost karma.

TRP ideology is actually practiced by a lot of middle east and asian cultures. Thats why TRP advocates seem to prefer asian women, because of their subservience.

Your right, its an attempt to shut down a discussion which base premise is flawed. If you don't want to hear an opinion inverse to yours then shut your damn mouth. Edit: sorry that was rude, I'm just done using logic, it gains no ground here.

This is true. From what I understand the majority of deaths were from interactions with civilians in attempts to help them. Which is both sad and a disgusting tactic.

Its only part of the problem, the other part of the problem is real men who let other men believe this because they are to scared to seem less like a man for not talking down about women.

I agree with you completely. I realize men are naturally different on average to woman, but there are random mutations that cause individuality amongst humans. Some woman are naturally born more physically capable then some men. If that woman can meet the benchmark then let her join. There are plenty of men who are not capable of meeting the benchmark and we need every body in a real war. Though my original statement may of been an over generalization, I do understand there is still real danger …

Education does mean shit, though the education system in America is lacking and education style doesn't fit everyone learning needs doesn't justify a lack of education. The memorization of facts is relative to the field you're going into. Personally, I'm a CS major, which has little to do with memorization. I"m given tools in the form of languages and asked to solve problems based off the tools I am given. The problem is not wholly with education, the real problem is people arent smart enough to…

Soldiers sit behind technology was a broad statement and an accurate depiction of war today compared to old war. Those going to war today may not be able to understand the difference since war feels real when compared to life at home. Here are some numbers though, since you told me to do some research and I obliged. out of the 65 million men who went into combat during WWI 8 million died, 4 million of those being American. In 10 years of the Iraq war, we have lost 190 thousand soldiers. Part of …

How about you present an argument rather than claiming my points invalid because "I don't know". If you think I am incorrect, maybe you should do some research on security jobs if by some stretch of the imagination you think the two roles are comparable.

Bravery is subjective. There are plenty brave woman, that female security guard obviously found the limit of her bravery. He put peoples safety over his own and he should be commended for it, but his gender only comes into play because of the social pressure placed on men to be brave, not because men are inherently more brave.

You had me until " Many women are not capable of such complex reasoning." Many men are not capable of complex reasoning too, in-fact, many woman have higher education than men (in the united states atleast) I know many men and woman, and most the males are less cognitively capable then the females. But I assure you those same men feel like they are smarter than our women friends. The problem is dumb people speak the loudest. With that said, currently males have the short end of the stick with do…

Combat these days has nothing to do with size. Soldiers sit behind their technology. Comparing a security gig to combat is asinine, and even more asinine when you use it to justify your misogyny. Edit: seems to be a lot of ex soldiers here, I wonder if there is a connection between the amount of ex soldiers and how delusional the extremists are here.

Disregard my last comment, I thought your response was to a different message of mine. With that said, that line is not a Psych only concept. It's a saying that has become popularized because the sheer amount of bad science being taught by bad schools. Our natural response to solve problems is to blame the something that correlates. This is part of how the human mind solves problems through pattern recognition. I understand how you hate it because it does sound pompous, but it makes a valid poin…

TRP isnt evil, but this type of ideology is a breeding ground for psychopathic tendencies. TRP mentality probably is not in direct correlation with psychopaths, but it will draw them in with its established social hierarchy that paints them as superior beings because they match the variables that TRP defines as alpha.

Your clarification expresses my feelings very well. It is important to recognize our culture paints an inaccurate representation of both sexs. We live in a sex driven culture, woman have been taught to use their sexuality as a tool. It is important to be aware of this but that woman who is using her sexuality is not a lower human because her choice and the man she manipulates inst an "omega" because he is allowing himself to be manipulated. Some men enjoy being manipulated just like some woman l…

I feel the title of this thread is misleading and propagates further indoctrination of the RP ideology. By stating he was an omega, you're disregarding any argument that he was anything else. I personally think Elliot Rodgers is an example of an unstable RP mentality, but because he was unstable, believers of the RP dogma disregard him because instability is inherently an Omega trait. Though from what I have noticed, the RP mentality is blatantly based around disregarding others opinions. Appare…
