As a Bears fan I remember a lot of support and sympathy when Brandon Marshall went public with his mental health struggles. They talked about it a lot during the games. It was really inspiring for me, and I was really proud of him as a fan.

I ride the train every day and I’ve only had occasion to give up my seat once or twice. I’d absolutely give up my seat for a pregnant woman. That’s just the kind of society I want to live in so I’ll do my part. And I’m not so precious that I can’t stand for a bit.

That’s fucking heartbreaking. Truly. I feel like yours is the kind of story that needs to be heard. People need to see the faces and know the names of the people who made the decision to put your kids with somebody like that. And then those people should have to defend their decision in court and show they weren’t biased or lose their jobs. My buddy’s case was nowhere near as bad, but still - he was a responsible guy with a home and his own business while she was a junkie drifting between places…

Sorry to hear that man. Hopefully one day your kids will realize you did everything you could to be with them, but you got fucked over by a rigged system.

That’s my point - one half vehemently disagrees with the other so nothing gets done. I’m not a MRA guy - I disagree with probably more than half of what this sub stands for. But on this topic I 100% agree that the system is rigged against fathers, it’s utter bullshit, and reform needs to happen.

I wonder what percentage of men don’t apply for custody. I have a friend who won full custody of his kids a few years after the divorce, and she has to pay him child support. He’s mad rich too, and she makes nothing. His intention was to screw her as fully as possible. But number one - she’s a deadbeat and number two - he hired the best legal team money could buy.

The other half probably agreed there was a bias against women, haha. Just messing around, but it’s funny that it’s half. That’s why nothing ever gets done.

I didn’t say that did I? I’m as pro-life as they come. But even if I wasn’t, two wrongs don’t make a right.

I’m older and married, so I never did the whole Tinder / hookup thing. I avoided those types of problems by not having casual sex and actually getting to know the person first. But if I’m being honest - I was never all that good at weeding out the crazies so you shouldn’t ask me for advice. 😉

From the policy you quoted “brushing up against” someone is included. So by your logic, every single time one person brushes up against another that’s sexual harassment. There’s no list of prohibited or acceptable behaviors. What you’re missing here is that the exact same behavior can be either sexual or non-sexual depending on context and intent. If I was grinding on a women standing in the train, that’s sexual. If I bumped into her with the intention of stealing her wallet, criminal but non-se…

This would never work in a million years. A short video before and after sex? Who the fuck is actually going to agree to that? And I think I’d be more likely to believe a rape accusation after seeing a video like that, not less. Like “what’s this guy trying to hide?” That’s like serial killer level weird. I’m just giving you a hard time, but seriously, don’t do this. Just don’t have sex with crazy women and you’ll lower your chances of something bad happening by like 98%.

Are you in the US? If so you should seriously call the Board of Labor and talk to somebody.

He’s still the baby’s father though and abandoning a child is one of those few things in life that’s wrong regardless of circumstance. He should be given the option to take custody and have her pay him child support since she’s obviously a manipulator and can’t be trusted.

I’m an engineer in my 40’s so take this with a grain of salt since I might have some bias. There’s a lot of demand for STEM in general and very few qualified females. My company has 40 or 50 developers who are under 30 years old, and only 2 of them are female one of whom was brought in on a visa from China. Sure it’s possible that you may one day lose out to an equally qualified female in a job interview or a college admission for no other reason than gender, but there are plenty of opportunitie…

You could fetishize literally anything but tickling is not innately sexual and this is not sexual harassment.

I think there might be something to this. Women on average tend to be far more concerned with their physical appearance than men. I’ve never considered suicide, but I’m pretty sure that if I did one thought that would not cross my mind as a man is “how attractive will I be at my funeral?”

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
