It's viscerally disgusting to me how rape is obviously titillating even to so-called normal men and then they have the nerve to act affronted when we view their sexual advances with any amount of caution. So glad that's your ex!

I've been in the same boat. These women often have low self-esteem and feel worthless without male attention. They genuinely think these men are better than being alone. You as a platonic, female friend cannot give her the male validation that she wants, so there's no amount of logic or listening/support you can provide that will get her to change. She's the one who has to get fed up with their BS and decide it's not worth it. At best, you can remain in her life and model that not taking shit fr…

OMG, yes! And then they have the nerve to accuse girls of having Disney Princess syndrome.

Women outnumber men in most types of church and in the US also in higher education. (facetiousness incoming) If the more logical, spatially-aware, hunter sex can't figure out to be in churches and places of learning to meet these types of women where the ratios greatly favor them, it's because, as we already know, they don't really want that.

I couldn't get through it all. The pain on the first dude's face hurt my heart for his girlfriend.

Yes! A partner that doesn't respect your heavier investment is trying to put you in a heads I win/tails you lose situation. They *know* that's what they're doing which is what makes them especially awful partners. Universally, men like this who, for example, shit on single mothers while whining about women's pickiness and "the wall" are abject losers. They either know they're well below average looks-wise or are lazy and broke (sometimes because of multiple children they don't take care of witho…

Sticking to these strategies is the easy part. Changing how you actually feel inside is much, much harder. Absolutely! But like you said, this is the end goal of "fake it til you make it" so that these changes are natural and sustainable. You become internally-motivated by your own increased self-esteem and self-worth.

LOL! I didn't see a dirty bong and cum socks everywhere so sighed in relief she wasn't putting up with abject filth on top of being disrespected.

Women don't often orgasm with men or even have good sex with them and then wonder why their desire wanes in an LTR.

This one is fake, but men do this intentionally as a form of negging. I've seen a lot of men brag they do it to show they're not whipped.

You're right about that and I hadn't considered that angle. Even if you aren't susceptible to groupthink, the company you keep sends a message to others.

I have good friends who are horrible Pickmeishas but that doesn't stop them from being platonically great friends. As long as they aren't dragging you down by asking you to repeatedly bail them out of situations they created for themselves, I see no need to drop them unless you're just tired of them and aren't getting value from the relationship otherwise and it's truly too emotionally painful to remain friends.

I've had a bilateral sapingectomy. I didn't have any complications and the pain afterwards wasn't excruciating or unbearable and I recovered in the advertised amount of time which is 2-4 weeks. The pain was what you would expect for having fabric that rubs against against a well cared for wound. I'm an ethnicity that keloids easily so I do a small scar from where one of the incisions was made, but I don't think it's super obvious since I have chicken pox scars still too. I don't want to make lig…

Girl, you lyin' and let me tell you why. Apes are better than men because they will form gangs to kill psychopathic males who indiscriminately hurt the tribe's females and children. We, on the other hand, promote them to CEO. Above other apes my ass.

Begging for someone's attention is counterproductive. Pulling away and bread-crumbing work because they signal scarcity and trigger the chase mode in people with insecure, clingy attachment styles. Begging is basically the opposite of that where you signal you have no options and are desperate. Stop wanting people who don't want you. That should make them instantly unattractive to you. Why would you enter a relationship you had to cajole someone into? You're setting yourself up for a wandering e…

Yes! Let me second this. Please don't be like a narcissistic man and get yourself doxxed. We don't need to see you and your friends. The NSA is out here figuring out where people are based on the reflection in their pupils (I'm not joking, that is not exaggeration).

Listening to older women (I love both of those artists btw) and the BS they went through I think helped me adopt an FDS mentality as a young girl even when I was being reinforced to be a pickme by society at large. I always wondered what they were getting out of being married to cheating, abusive losers. An honest, non-sentimental assessment boiled down to money because they were limited in career opportunities and children.

I'm glad he flipped (but sorry you had to go through that) before you got married to nudge you into seeing he's ugly inside and out. Congrats, sis!

Let me tell on these losers since various facets of this theme have been popping up lately. I've seen quite a few men who think it's hilarious to boast about how they don't care about their rings and do dumb shit with them as a form of heading to outer space to whisper "Biiiiiiiiiiitch" as a form of male bonding. A lot of men lose their rings not just because they're cheating or trying to look single, but because they are literally treating their ring how they feel about the relationship.

A Pimp Named Slickback (Aaron McGruger's Boondocks) is a generally fucked up, misogynistic entity. But he spoke the truth there. He will put a lot of things over a ho: a pair of new gators or even a damned sandwich. But a homie doesn't even rate. They're just rubes whose pockets he's picking. They're not his friends despite the fact that the dummies look up to him because of his harem and LVM behavior. And because it apparently doesn't go without saying to LibFems who have no analytical capabili…

She's so obsessed with what women need to do for men as is typical of female upbringing. On AskMen, right now one of the top voted threads is a woman asking them what their wives do to keep them happy. Where is the equivalently enthusiastic thread asked by a man on AskWomen? I found a man asking what fashionable trainers to get his wife, so there's something. Until that changes, I do not do shit for the homies. Let me reiterate, I do not do shit for the homies. Despite my total lack of desire to…

OMG! It's always so much worse than you think. He improperly accessed the police database to get information he wasn't even supposed to have in the first place. The bar is in hell and Satan tripped over it.

Here are the differences between you and an LVM: You recognize that you have problems to work on. You recognize how your issues affect your partner and feel bad when they affect him negatively instead of willful obliviousness. You're genuinely trying to mitigate them instead of blaming your partner for not being good enough to motivate you to be better or some external source. Just keep trying, you're doing great so far! If your partner hasn't had boundary issues in the past that you know of, tr…

For sure! Yes, men can be shy and reserved too. But a well-adjusted, culturally in-tune man knows that despite the polite fictions we have, the onus is still on him to make the first overt move. He likes you enough to overcome his inhibitions, he will pursue you. Non-depressed people have no problem pursuing what they really, deep down in their hearts want. If they don't pursue and make moves towards that goal, it means they believe they should want whatever because it's culturally-expected or s…

A lot of the problem is the police officers are domestic abusers themselves and have motivated reasoning to not recognize and preempt obvious precursors to escalation like stalking. The very nature of police culture is the platonic ideal of masculine status hierarchy based on domination and control. I think that's why women-only police stations have had better success at intervening and keeping women who leave abusers safe. They want to. It's as simple as that.

I have struggled so much with this with the accomplished and otherwise smart women in my life. They are addickted and refuse to understand that men only respond to material consequences for their actions, not you explaining ad nauseam (nagging to them) in umpteen different ways how their actions hurt you and don't make you feel valued. You're right they have to just learn on their own and outgrow thinking struggle love is something to aspire to and put up with.

You have it exactly right. Do not announce to a man that you don't want to be married unless you want to signal you're a cool girl he can not put forth effort on or slowly interest in as you settle into a bangmaid role. If he doesn't propose to you in about 2 years in a way you find romantic, move on. I didn't take my husband's name and I don't feel I've signed my life away (I'm childfree which may help). We've already negotiated who will get what in the event of divorce and we came into the mar…

The fact that you can observe and see the obvious and are selective as a woman should be instead of bowing into pressure to make excuses for why being an LVM's real Real Doll is totally cool makes you a HVW. If you don't want to be married, but want children that's fine! You need to make sure that you not only have the time and resources, but an extended support network to be a single mother though. If changing your name is the only reason you don't want to be married, you don't have to. I do fe…

This fixation on one now irrelevant woman is a sign that a man is prone to unproductive monomania too (i.e. he's a probably also one of those slovenly gamers and anime fans). Many men like this do nothing but spend hours and hours shitposting and memeing about how society is really a matriarchy. It's a huge red flag.
