| 1 | Would you date a feminist?I see that we disagree, and that's okay. But as much as I simply want to let this drop, I feel compelled to say just two more things: One, I don't think that any woman OR man should benefit from, or experience discrimination solely because of, his or her gender identity. And many people who call themselves feminists feel this way as well. Just because there are bad eggs in ANY group does not mean that the good eggs should run away flailing their arms and saying that the entire group is odious an… | /r/MensRights | 19/04/10 11:49 PM |
| 1 | Would you date a feminist?Sure, why not: I would also consider myself a humanist (in the sense you seem to mean it-- not that I am in the humanities). I am a feminist and I am also a masculist/men's rights activist and I am many other things. Feminism has a long and complicated history, and encompasses many different philosophies and many different types of people. Today most feminists see feminism not so much in the whole second wave end-oppression-of-women way but more in terms of the third wave importance-of-gender-eq… | /r/MensRights | 19/04/10 01:47 PM |
| 4 | Would you date a feminist?Holy shit! Seriously, not all women who consider themselves feminists are selfish, man-hating, power-hungry bitches like the ones you describe. Some of us actually, for example, read Mens Rights because we believe that NO one should be entitled or deprived based on their gender. | /r/MensRights | 19/04/10 02:34 AM |

| 17 | My gym now has womens only periods. Please share your annoyances and minor (but still important) grievances.I used to belong to a womens-only gym and I loved it. Of course there is still ogling etc, but there was much, MUCH less of it. There were also many, MANY fewer made-up women hogging stationary bikes for hours, trolling for men. That said, if you joined a gym with the expectation that you would have access on Sunday afternoons, and they have taken that away from you, that sucks and isn't fair. It's like you joined a gym and then they closed the pool and closed the racquetball courts. | /r/MensRights | 15/04/10 11:31 PM |
