Figures date a bit but I am fairly certain they have not changed significantly. “In 2016, the value of the UK’s unpaid household service work was estimated at £1.24 trillion – larger in size than the UK’s non-financial corporation sector; overall unpaid household service work was equivalent to 63.1% of gross domestic product (GDP).” There you go

Awww, poppet. The unpaid labour of women (the labour they provide as mothers, carers, cleaners, laundresses, etc) is over half the GDP. Here (UK), it is over a trillion pounds. But please, entertain us with your funny little graphs 🤣🤣🤣

That is not what the woman in the viral video said AT ALL. She talks about the mental load, the day to day running of the household that befalls almost entirely on women, and that leads them to be exhausted and burnt out, and that is the leading cause of divorce. But hey. Keep pretending it doesn’t exist and that it is women’s fault for heaping that labour on themselves.

But when we do, men come over here and whine that women don’t want them 🤣🤣🤣

That is not what the bar is about. I have lost count of how many women I know who, when talking about their shit and inept partner, said “well, at least he doesn’t hit me”. THAT is what the bar is. Women being happy and/or relieved that their partner is not violent, or sometimes changes a nappy. Nothing to do with physical attributes or bank account.

I went to university, I have a masters degree and I do not have any debt. Not all of us live in this shithole you call USA. Some of us live in socialist countries where education is virtually free.

Poppet, it takes a woman eight more years than a man to get a diagnosis for a chronic disease. We are told we are anxious, that it’s all in our heads. We get belittled and dismissed. And do not get me started on pain control. You really ought to read a book or two.

Birth rates are not declining because men are single. Birth rates are declining because society treats mothers like shit, and women don’t fall for the motherhood con anymore.

“Oh noes, people having consensual sex outside of wedlock, what a tragedy” Famine is a huge problem. The destruction of the biosphere is a huge problem. Your outdated values being disregarded by others? Not a huge problem. No one cares.

Women who have been victims of sexual assault can sometimes will have meaningless sex with successive partners to process their trauma and regain control over their bodies. I don’t see the problem with that. I do not see how people having meaningless sex is a problem. This is not the 18th century. Stop being a prude.

Virginity is a concept dreamed up by men who wanted to make sure whatever offspring that came out of a woman’s vagina was theirs. It is outdated and has no place in a modern society. And no, men do not have magical penises that somehow change women. Oftentimes, men want a virgin because if a woman never had sex before, she can’t tell you’re shit at it.

Women were minors. Not allowed to own property, not allowed to be financially independent. Marital rape was legal, there was no contraception so we kept popping out babies until we either died or shrivelled. But yeah, life was better. 🤦‍♀️

Man: has absent father and abusive step father and somehow still manages to hate women and find they are the danger. Also, wtf does being “divorce raped” mean? Go to therapy, my dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/25 09:11 PM

“A man tilled the land” I stopped reading after that. Your heavily biased view of society and the notion that only men worked and provided for their family is fucking ridiculous. Nothing makes sense in your ramblings.

Dominique Pélicot cooked for his wife and brought her her favourite flavour of ice cream in bed. And then he invited strangers to rape her while she was unconscious. Louise Hunt recognised the signs and dumped her abusive boyfriend. He raped her, then murdered her, her sister, and their mother. And you do not understand the first thing about domestic abuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/25 09:16 PM
3

Rape is about control. It is not about sexual desire or violence, it is about control. That is why men with a variety of physiques do it. Because they are interested in controlling women. And women tend to be wary of all men, because it is drilled into us from childhood. Also: see the bear social media thing a few months back.

What a sad life you must live. I know plenty of men who talk around beers, records, or while watching their kids play. They talk about their lives and the problems they might have. And no, that don’t have a pathological need to indulge in “patriarchal games”, whatever the fuck those are. Edit: I just saw you last paragraph. Seek therapy, my dude. Yes, it involves talking, but it sounds like you fucking need it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 05:43 PM

Yeah. Because women warning each other of men being cheaters or worse, violent, is exactly the same as men telling each other so and so is bad at giving head but she will let you sodomise her if you get her drunk.

The majority of women do not cultivate friendships with other women? Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/25 09:05 PM
10

But women do. Many women have decided to just not bother with men anymore. They cultivate deep friendships with other women, and it drives men mad because they are really unsettled by the realisation that women simply do not need them to be happy. Men, in the other hand, do not cultivate the kind of deep friendships women share. They do not talk about their emotions with their mates, they do not show vulnerability to each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/25 06:00 PM

Do they? Feminists have been talking about the mental load, which forces them to care for their male partners as if they were children. They have been clamouring for men to go to therapy. They have been screaming about male violence for literal centuries. But hey. Also: no, that is not what slavery is.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/25 03:51 PM
13

Lol. The conservative estimate is that there are about 10bn dollars of unpaid child support in the US. That is a lot of money. Men literally abandon their children, but hey, let’s blame feminists. Women live longer because of biological factors, but also because they cultivate friendships and take care of themselves. Grow up and take yourselves to therapy and/or the GP. Furthermore, older women tend to be poorer because they had children, so we’re penalised for it in their career. Men have put t…

Your “democracy” was just usurped by a billionaire who has no one’s interest at heart but his own. Even without the whole evangelical insanity, or the backward view on women’s rights, you’d have to be pretty fucking dumb to think Trump is going to help anyone.

So... you made a pointless irrelevant comment deliberately? How is that irrelevant? Married does not mean single. This is pretty basic. If we retire all self-reported survey data as unreliable, we’ll have to retire virtually the entirety of feminism, most of the Blue Pill, and most of complaints women widely have about men. Feminism is the radical notion that women are people, and that as such, they deserve equal rights and opportunities. Despite your glaring lack of knowledge about the subject,…

Awww, is that what you think? I actually went and read the papers you linked. What transpires is that data gathering for this specific topic is difficult, so conclusions are sketchy at the best of times. What I find hilarious is the hatred you guys have for single mothers while at the same time wailing that “the majority of women who get abortions are single” What the fuck do you want from women exactly?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 03:00 PM

There will be some outliers, but the huge majority of violence is committed by men. I mean, this is not even up for debate, those are well documented and researched facts. So while you are all losing your minds over the fear of the Big Bad Bitch that will come and castrate you in the night, the reality shows that this is nothing but a fantasy.

No one wants to baby trap you. Women have reached the point now where society has changed enough to enable them to not be dependent upon a man for anything, which means the standard has been raised and it is too high for you. And that’s why you cannot cope.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 09:05 AM

So, really, you should stop talking. You have no idea what it is like to be autistic. You know what it looks like on the outside, based on a very restricted sample of people who obviously have similarities because they work in similar fields. Reading books about autism will only get you so far. Also, the sample of people you see on the forums is fairly restricted. As I said: it is a spectrum. Clue’s in the name: ASD. Autism Spectrum Disorder. I know an autistic woman who cannot speak, cannot loo…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/25 03:50 PM

Are you autistic?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/25 03:27 PM

It’s a spectrum. Some of us are fine with eye contact, but are really sensitive to noise, and prefer to eat the same food every day. Some of us are precocious and speak early, some of us are non verbal. It is a spectrum.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/25 02:48 PM

I get that. But the whole “something that tries to be human” is really fucking offensive. IDGAF if you find it hard to connect to autistic people, we are still human beings, not robots.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/25 02:42 PM

You can find it difficult to relate to people, there is no need to say they are “something that tries to be human”. Come on, man.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/25 02:42 PM

“Something that tries to be a human” Woah. Easy there, champ. We are disabled, not robots. We are perfectly capable of love and empathy. Jesus wept. That has to be the most offensive comment about autism I have come across in a long time. Your experience of autistic people is but a tiny sliver of the immense variety that constitutes the autistic community. You are now falling into clichés and falsehoods, and I just.. yeah, I don’t want to touch that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/25 02:03 PM

I am neurodivergent. I would argue that all autistic people are different, and that when you meet an autistic person, you have met one autistic person. I am not invalidating your experience, merely saying that there are a lot of ways autism manifests.

Where have I said I hated men? Nowhere. I have stated facts. The leading cause of death for pregnant women in the US and the UK is men. Fact. The majority of women who are murdered are killed by men they know and trust, usually a partner or ex partner. Fact. The most dangerous moment for women is when they leave a relationship. Fact. The most dangerous place for a woman is her own home. Fact. These are facts, backed up by data. How on earth do you I theoretically that as saying “meh, all men bad…

You are moving the goalposts and indulging in whataboutism. Stick to the topic. Your fantasy of defending women against what I assume are black and brown men coming from abroad (this crap is always steeped in racism) is just that: a fantasy. Meanwhile, in real life, the numbers don’t lie: the biggest threat to women’s lives are the men they know and trust.

The only reason there are more men than women that are diagnosed ND is that there is a massive bias in the field and it is extremely hard for women to get a diagnosis. Also: in 36 US state, a man can be found guilty of rape and sue for parental and visitation rights over the child conceived as a result of said rape.

Forcing women to risk their lives by carrying unwanted pregnancies to term is vastly different, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/24 01:20 AM

Not where I live. You will be charged with assault.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/24 01:19 AM

You cannot kill an unborn child, because a child is, by definition, born. Pregnancy is an extremely risky business that messes with women’s body and puts their lives at risk. Paying child support doesn’t come close to that. In fact, all men need to do to avoid paying child support is… to not pay. Which they do in droves.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 09:53 PM

Wear a condom. Problem solved.
