The problem is even women that are clearly below my looks consider me as a backup. Online dating/ hookup culture has made it virtually impossible for the average man to be in a relationship where he is respected. Put yourself in the average woman’s shoes. She can go on dates with hot men on a regular basis. She might end up getting dumped, but she can hop onto the next fling very soon after. That’s a dream life if you ask me. It makes no sense for them to give the average guy anytime of day. May…

You described my experience and state of mind to a T. I congratulate you for finally bringing this whole dating effort to an end. You seem to have reached a maturity about it all and your conclusion is spot on. It took me 10 years to get to the same conclusion, but with a lot of shame, regrets and humiliation along the way.

The problem isn’t with men thinking this way, it’s women who chase Chad, get pumped and dumped and then go settle with the “relationship material”. Men who have an issue being “relationship material”, are just saying, rather implicitly, that they understand female sexual strategy.

Even if they’re looking for a relationship, they would be chasing men far above their league, knowing they have no chance, sleep with them, try to lock them down, rinse and repeat. If she’s smart, she would stop the cycle soon enough around 25-27 years old, and lock down her looks match. The chances are that the average man in a relationship is very likely settled for these days, unless the woman is noticeably below average.

Men are becoming more and more powerless in the dating scene, it’s just sad to see man. In my opinion, men accepting that the women they’re dating, with long term intentions, to be banging other dudes is just plain sad and embarrassing. I had a friend accepting that the woman he was dating keep going out on dates while they had the exclusivity talk. In my experience, a woman that juggles multiple men effortlessly at the same time is bad news, call me old fashioned or whatever, but my experiences…

Many do it on purpose, at least a couple of them have admitted it. It took a while for me to understand what was going on, had to go through a number of painful and humiliating experiences.

Bro women, not all but in general, are master manipulators. Their whole game is to appear nice so that men provide them with their demands. I learned the very very hard way. Don’t be fooled by all the effort or talk about how nice and not shallow they are.

185lbs 15% is pretty jacked. Most people significantly underestimate their bf %.

The only times I’ve caught a bad case of feelings for a girl, acted super “beta” and got shit on badly is when I assumed the girl is “nice”. On the other hand, once I had it in mind that the girl is not “relationship material”, I was a natural “alpha”. In hindsight, they all were not “relationship material”. I believe assuming a girl is not relationship material is best prevention strategy against catching feelings and acting beta, even in LTR.

Testosterone is overrated in my opinion, not that it’s not important. I tested my testosterone and is at average for my age. I built muscle and lose fat relatively well. However, I’m very beta in the mind, and especially with women. I get attached easily and get shit on like no other day. I can’t naturally hurt women, and I trust them easily. I believe other hormones/markers, especially related to neuroticism, including depression and anxiety, play a more important role. I think that would be th…

You don’t know about that famous incel in the 6’5 height range? Can’t remember his name. Face is very underrated on PPD.

It’s not settling if she isn’t trying to shoot much higher than her league in the first place. It’s like saying the average woman is settling when choosing Chad because she couldn’t get with Brad Pitt.

Yes, you’re spot on. As for drugs, it was weed, but I rarely do it, but should probably stop it altogether.

Good question. I don’t know exactly, but I’ll try to remember what made me rate her as 3-4. Thick legs, especially calves. No hips, ass or boobs; no hour glass shape basically. Face isn’t attractive, but not totally repulsive. She was 5’8-5’9 tall but I don’t mind taller women, though she commented that indirectly that I’m not tall. If I were to date again, I would definitely not have asked her on dates, but I probably was suffering from low self esteem and thought she was a “nice” girl.

It’s been 3 years or so. I’ve given up on relationships all together, I found that I’m not made for them, I’m a naturally compassionate person, which isn’t the best trait in today’s dating world. Also, since I’m not a top whatever percentile of men, a relationship will just be a mindfuck for me. I used to lurk on PPD in the past but I wasn’t aware of TRP. Honestly, I found PPD to be mostly blue pilled, and surprisingly, I found that TRP describes female behavior in today’s dating environment to …

Yes, I’m likely above average, but no Chad. I’ve had girlfriends before and around 5 ONS. I meet all the 6666 and significantly so, except height I’m just under 5’11, but I’m jacked and legit 10-12% body fat, full head of hair. I get mad interest from ugly/fat women and gay dudes at the bars. To a point where it got annoying sometimes. But dating is a struggle with women I like. I’ve had women come up to me call me handsome and give me their numbers, but either I’m not interested, or some not ma…

Being commitment worthy is the highest validation for women. Same as some men don’t necessarily enjoy casual sex, but it a huge validation for them.

This is an opinion that is prevalent on purple pill, but is far from true. Face is number 1. But men with good faces are rare, and most women can’t obtain them, so they cope and resort to getting someone tall. Ideally they want both. You can easily confirm this on OLD, you can try it yourself. I find the following formula generally reliable: face > height > body > dick, given that none is below some certain threshold.

Stringing along, the typical using the guy as a backup/BB as they shop around for other guys. The guy is either a nice guy, desperate, or both. One of the guys was aware of this I guess and didn’t mind it, she even kept dating after he asked to be exclusive. His wife has the upper hand in the relationship and controls him. I used to go out with him every now and then to bars. When they first became gf/bf, he disappeared from the face of the earth. The other relationships, they started BB, and re…

Lol the men here are jaded and bitter because of discovering the truth of female sexual strategy that they were lied to their entire life by everyone including parents, women, and society. Most of the remaining men outside the internet/this sub that are not bitter that you mention are in BB relationships. Out of 10 relationships I can think of right now including siblings and friends, only 1 I can say is not BB. The remaining, I can confirm with 100% certainty they’re BB relationships, because t…

This guys gets it. Men should be extra extra careful in dating. Men are in a weak position in dating, because if they’re not in the top 5%, which is most, they’re instantly replaceable. For this reason, they should really put as little investment in dating. This is similar to investing in assets or equity, you don’t invest a big amount in something risky. Man, even lower my standards, and going out with a woman that was a 3 at best, and less attractive than all my ex’s, treated me like pure utte…

You probably have had relationships in the past, and possibly some negative experiences here and there, then came to this conclusion. The problem is men who have not been in any kind of relationship, and all they look for is a relationship. I really feel bad for the guys that their life goal is to find a relationship for the fear of being “forever” alone. I literally met one guy the other day like this, and he had this naive outlook on relationships, we’re both in our thirties. All I was thinkin…

I’m no Chad, but possibly above average, and fat/ugly girls and some gay guys would sometimes be hard to deal with out at the bars, especially when they’re persistent. In those situations, I feel like what women feel about male attention, and how being nice can give the wrong message.

Society’s purpose is to maintain continuity of itself. This includes reproduction through marriage and kids, hardworking men to provide and protect, and avoiding any wide scale violence and hence the push for monogamy. Putting all those pieces together, in general, society pushes men to beta and indirectly fulfill the female narrative. By the same token, women are to certain extent also asked to not “whore” around and start a family, meaning they’re asked to contain their hypergamous nature. How…

It’s one thing to be exposed to said truths and even maybe accepting them. But even after experiencing it all first hand, it takes a long time before those truths become internalized in a man who has been BP his entire life.

Withholding sex while being a total hoe in the past, only works until the gig is up. Also, many men with experience and possible been played in the past just assume all women are hoes, so withholding sex to them just means the woman is just playing games, and they move on.

Good luck brother. You’re noticeably tall, so you can afford looking a little lighter/slimmer. I personally prefer hypertrophy training for gaining/maintaining muscle, but if you like powerlifting style should be fine too, especially if you’re not an advanced lifter, which I’m not. If you don’t like the look at lower body weight, you can always stuff you’re face with food and gain it all back in no time.

155-160 lbs around 5’10.5. Part of why I still look like I lift at this weight is that my lower body is small (less than 21 inch legs), both due genetics and not training them as consistently as my upper body. If I get my legs to grow an inch or two, I would guess I would be in the 160-165 range instead, since lower body makes up a big portion of total body weight. Edit: I just saw the remainder of you comment. I used to have a mental block like you, first at 180lbs, then 175lbs, then 170lbs, th…

I used to try to measure or guess my bf %, but really in the end all the matters if you’re satisfied with how you look and feel in terms of how much fat you’re carrying. If you feel you can be leaner just go for it. Most people don’t like lowering their body fat % due to them looking skinny. But in this case, they’re choosing between skinny and fat/not skinny, but not between skinny and muscular. I don’t subscribe to the idea that fat makes you look “bigger”. It wasn’t the case for me. For me, e…

Yes, the difference between 12% and 15% is very noticeable when it comes to the face, and every ounce of body fat lost below 12% starts to be noticeable.

You’re not totally wrong, not all attractive and socially graceful men focus their lives on chasing tail. Having said that, it is really hard to compete with talented and dedicated men who are socially inept and/or unattractive when it comes to getting to the top of such careers. The level of commitment and dedication it requires (aside from talent) is mental illness level of crazy. I won’t go into details about myself but I have a lot of first hand experience with this. It’d be a rare occurrenc…

Sorry, but you don’t know what you’re talking about. Any guy who gets laid frequently has little to no time or motive to spend hours upon hours to sustain a career in high paying jobs that typically require endless energy, time, and commitment, e.g., STEM, medicine, entrepreneurship, law etc.

Markets are not always stable or always reflecting the actual valuation of the items on it, this is pretty much a known fact in the stock market for example. Women have been riding the “bull” wave of the dating market, meaning their market value has been trending up more than it should in the last decade or so, due to known “tailwinds”, i.e, reasons repeatedly mentioned and discussed on this sub. There is inevitably going to be a major correction to the inflated female value, and this going to h…

With experience and time, men who believe in game watch and see guys with no game pick up the same exact women they’re trying to game with little to no game. What is the difference? It’s looks (and ethnicity).

The woman is either attracted or not, and gaming her to make her become attracted to you is just no different than being beta bucks. I’m more with Blackpill on this one. It helped me a lot and freed me from the “what did I do wrong” guilt feelings. She is either attracted or not, unless you show a lot of thirst, it is really looks that matter the most. In my opinion, TRP is not for making women become attracted to you, and if you think this way, you have to reevaluate your understanding. TRP’s v…

How can anyone refute this? If you’ve dated around enough as a man, and have read/seen the men’s rights movements content, combining the two, it doesn’t take a PhD to see the truth. The gig is up for many men. Since more men are opting out of the whole marriage/family thing, why work till 65? It only makes sense to try your best to retire as early as you can and gain the freedom, which is I believe the biggest achievement someone can do. I plan to do the same, retire by 40 if my investments work…

The problem is that becoming desperate is sometimes something subconscious, especially after a bad breakup or rejection. I’ve been guilty of this in the past, where I kept going on dates with a woman that I didn’t think was very attractive to me (she was using me too!). I’ve become more self-aware lately and more firm with what I want, which is somehow how women act in the dating market. It takes some time away from the scene and a bit of reflection. I’m quicker to “nexting”, something I initial…
