No joke, I’m 33 and get mistaken for 25 all the time. Mostly, it’s because I have EDS, and a lot of us have young looking faces because our connective tissue is different. 1	Expecting the man to pay is abusing outdated gender norms It doesn’t take into account what happens too if one of the partners encounters catastrophe and can no longer pay. I always pay half on a date because I know the time will come where I will need genuine help, and I do not want to burn out my partner when that day comes. In turn, when my partner needs genuinely help, I want them to know for sure that I have their back and I’m not only with them for financial means.
