I agree. I’ve following TRP/MGTOW for a few years now and it helped me get through a tough time. Aspects of it have been useful but when the likes of Richard Cooper turn into rabid anti maskers and Pandemic deniers it bothers me. Does following TRP naturally make you right wing and anti ‘establishment’? I don’t think so. But that’s the dogma that they seem to be stuck with.

You've got to do it! Accepting and acting on the book has massively improved my life. I've come from a relationship where I was the archetypal 'Nice Guy' amd all the frustrations that brought. It's about two years on from me discovering the book and I'm in a great relationship with a woman who says she doesn't want me to change from what I am. More importantly, she knows I won't. About a year ago I moved to a different city and set up a NMMNG meetup. Its been great to meet other former Nice Guys…

You said it. Sounds like you're over thinking it. Just enjoy it the spoon, whichever one you are.

I just had a thought. That instead of going full on blue pill I was in fact doing the opposite. I now have an abundance mentality and don't need to take advantage of drunks. Perhaps the beta me would have as I would have been flattered by the offer to go back to hers. Whatever it was, I'm glad I did what I did and thanks for all the comments. Always good to get you guys opinion.

A healthy balance of opinion there. Thanks.

If only I could think so logically after three large glasses of wine...

I subscribe to it for a sense of 'balance'. But it seems like a lot of childish shit.

Just adding to the rest here, but shave it. Nothing attractive about clinging on to it. I should know, I started losing my hair at 18.

I'm about two months in on nofap and I've definitely felt some benefits. My problem was/is PIED (porn induced erectile dysfunction). I agree with all the above comments that wanking is perfectly normal. The damaging thing is porn. However, I'm 46 and unlike many of the users on on nofap I have a regular outlet for my sperm- a number of plates. Not wanking to an image on a screen definitely fires up the loins. One comment I spotted on nofap that inspired me was that by watching some dude fuck the…

I saw a good reply on TRP once: 'Enough to know what I'm doing. Not enough to be satisfied.'

Can concur. I'm 46 and came out of a 15 year relationship in December. The internet barely existed back in the 90's, let alone smart phones. I have fucked more woman since last December than I had in my entire life. I was a total beta.

I believe her about the doctor, but who cares? I had fun. I'm not going to get in a relationship with her or probably see her again.

I'm trying to help fellow men break away from being nice guys. It's also a good way to bond with other men.

This is a brilliant post. A recent ex decided to tell me via text message that she going to go back to her home country next year. My response was 'Ok then, see ya!' She just couldn't understand why l didn't care and wouldn't beg for her to stay. And when she asked if I was back on tinder and I told her yes, her hamster must have gone mental..... The Blue Pill me would have begged. Thanks MGTOW and Red Pill.

If you know it to be true, take it onboard and improve yourself. Otherwise you'll be a beta bitch pushed around for the rest of your life. I found it eye opening and see it as an opportunity to make a better me with 'inside' knowledge.

You're situation isn't too different to mine (a touch of oneitus) and you did well. I always think 'What would the BP me do?' That sorts me out and stops me worrying. There are millions of women out there. Remember that.

NMMNG was a revelation for me but it seems you've a long way to go? Why are you shaving everyday and worried about your body hair? Grow a beard. That'll make you feel more of a man. I'm really hairy and never worried about it. Are men that shave all over and groom to excess real men? No. They look like girls.

There's the saying: ' Give me a child until he is 7 and I'll give you the man'. I have a 6 year boy from a separation and he lives with his mum and is surrounded by women. I'm making every effort now to make sure he doesn't go down the the beta path that I did. It's never too early.

I love how this got turned into a discussion on driving. Unfortunately this was London and I was on a train! Thanks for confirming that I did the right thing. Yup. She'll find her blue pill sucker at some point.

That's good to hear. I have no time for tantrums. She's always been a bit of a princess and struggles with the fact I don't pander to it.

Try using 'Tinder Flame' (iOS, not sure about android). Will take all the pointless swiping away. It's been a boon for me. I had 30 odd likes yesterday alone . Didn't like any of them, but thats not the point!

For the lazy, use Tinder Flame (iOS). It's cheap to buy and tells you who liked you. Just filter out the ones you don't like. Et voila! No more swiping.

Thanks again everyone. The bitch will be out of my life soon and as soon as I move out on my own ill be hitting the gym and tinder (long story as to why I can't yet).

Thanks people. That's what I like to hear. I've never been a cryer even at my parents funeral or the birth of my son but this cunt got in my head. I'd like to go back to my original question. In No more Mr nice guy he's says to express your emotions to your partner. You all seem to be saying the opposite. I know il find the right route. It's just fucking confusing at the beginning!

That makes sense. As an extension to this, I'm in the middle of a breakup (serious oneitis) if I was to tell her how I feel and even cry, wouldn't I been seen as less of a man? I'm nowhere near being an alpha, but do alphas cry over a woman?
/r/askTRP06/11/15 07:41 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
