You said it yourself no? Be yourself, on a side-note try to introduce the people you meet to your humor/tranquil side without making direct switches from meeting mode to social mode. Also, if you have a good sense of humor(as in, fooling around because it makes YOU laugh) and laugh/scoff at your own jokes, it helps pass the message that you aren't being arrogant. Smiling too also helps but what I'm saying could be a load of crap, but that's generally what I do and it works 100% of the time.

Well, let's just say first looks always evaluate attractiveness. Let's be honest guys.
