It's a common behaviour for them to play dumb because they go dumb = innocent = I shouldn't be punished for this it's not my fault! The sliding scale of the privilege of ignorance pisses me off to no end.

Probably harasses her for sex when she's exhausted from work and all the shit she's done that he should have. Wonders why she doesn't wanna fuck him.

It's just sad how often men will say we're the abusive ones without full context. For me slamming means that the abusive men in my life will escalate to physical violence on me or others in the house. But it sounds like for her it's the extreme end of a bad day. In reddit they always come down on the woman when she complains about abuse (although I've noticed that trend changing). I wonder if he meets their needs emotionally and I wonder if she's the bread winner to a man who also isn't be a hou…

I learned recently that this works for pretty much all vetting. Really pay attention to men when they communicate- not their exactly words but what they're trying to get you to think and why.

I've experienced this so many times that I've started running it off at the start. Guy and me start talking. Guy decidedly doesn't want me but we share social areas so I ignore it. Soon as I don't want the guy the guy is suddenly attracted to me but if I give any attention, the bro ghosts. When they complain we're confusing they mean hard to control. When we complain they're confusing we mean inconsistent and potentially deadly.

This is actually 100% true and I never realized it until you said it. Because we are in a world that takes our power away any chance it can, we have to play this smart. If it's our body it's truely no one's opinion but our own. We're socialized to say it's "his child" but ultimately the relationship a man has with "his child" is nothing to what a child has with their mother unless their mother really fucks it up. Damn.

this 100% works and I use it alot to vet how much someone is on certain spectrums of behavior as I still tend to attract dangerous people 😅.

Yeah, neck tattoos or face tattoos suggestive a level of willingness to violence originally. so if someone wants them they're usually saying their violent or they want to be perceived that way so either way red flag.

Study finds that male dominated site has more posts from men about emotional issues. Where men don't often share with their friends like this. Where men can easily only share one side to get an echo chamber. Where women are usually roasted for sharing relationship issues. 🤔

honestly I think she may have been trying to save her own life. As usual I think this man maybe blissfully unaware of himself.

I think children change the dynamic because men are suppose to become fathers, real fathers. But since most of that hasn't been modeled or required they usually become resentful of the children and become another child.

I'm glad you fought cancer and I'm glad you put that nvm in his place. My mom had so many issues which is why she was attracted to my dad but yes, she was the one that made Christmases matter. It's like putting in effort hurts men.

yup. I tried to stupidly build us up but he would ACTIVELY try to ruin things to make our lives harder. He would actively try to make me fatter. Actively try to isolate me from people.

Your edit is spot on. I was reading that men don't really cold approach but we actually give choosing signals and they come over. We're in charge but the manosphere wants us to think that we're not so we're duped. 2022 is almost here and sisters we're done with bullshit from men.

I don't know how to quote text on reddit but you nailed it when you said they think that us reacting to their abuse is the same as their abuse, the same as racial groups reacting to racism is the same as the racism. If we were all narcissistic, we would not be capable of even asking ourselves what do /we/ do to level up. Unfortunately narcissistic/narcissism is both on the rise and is the buzz word of the last 5 years.

My father was super abusive and did some fucked up things to my mother, I had to leave home and my brother had to help her before she ended up dying in a home alone. My dad will be abusive to my brother (I don't talk to them anymore for my literal sanity) and my brother would complain about it to me. But any abuse I suffered? (which was objectively worse) didn't matter and my brother would take my dad's side. Misogyny is fucked.

it's interesting that the entire reason she asked for a drive was because she feels coped up. He responds with asking for a walk - he knows. He knows she's fucking pregnant and she can't walk. She's literally creating life and his feelings are more important than hers yet no one seems to catch that.

I think it's fair to admit this too. I have some learning difficulties that make me doing something, especially if it's for a groups benefit, a really bad fit. I CAN do it, but it takes way longer for me to accomplish and it isn't as nice if someone else did it. But I literally say things like "I need an adult." when faced with these things and I am always thankful when someone does it for me. When strategic incompetence has been used against me I have never been thanked.

imo it's about you setting a boundary. you can't set a boundary because it means they don't own you

I was groomed by an epic level narc youth councilor when I was a teen. This is so true. He would guilt me to hang out with him and emotionally abuse me to smoke mass amounts of weed. Then we'd watch what he wanted to watch and he talked about "what you could notice watching something again that you've watched before." It was always what he wanted to do, which was usually smoke weed, watch stuff or how he'd guilt me to go swimming with him.

I've noticed an uptick in the last decade of men calling their girlfriends, who they never intend to actually marry, their wives.

yeah, I think they get jealous that they're not the center of the attention anymore. They wanted to be mothered and are having trouble moving into a fathering role.

"marriage is affirmative action for men" LMAO I have also wondered if the male selection hasn't only preferred "prettier" but also "weaker" women so it's easier to physically control us.

I sleuthed and couldn't find any social media except a LinkedIn. I checked and holy shit, he had at least 20+ jobs listed as a 30+ year old and none were held down very long. Turns out he has severe mental health issues and doesn't take the best care of himself.
