"Long conversation" and "amazing conversationalist", to me, don't stir up ideas of the playful interaction this tip is geared towards. Most tips like this one are context-dependent. If you're letting her talk about her passions and getting deep, you're probably not in a playful mode. It's easy to transition from deep to playful, but it seems obvious to me that you'd want to make that transition with a light-hearted joke and then go for some playful kino.
