Those are fancy as shit, nothing better than a tall, lean girl in one of those.

This is 100% awesome, and 100% how I feel about the whole thing. (The whole "at work" thing was just trollbaiting.) peasant floral skirt Maybe it's because I'm not well versed in feminine fashion, but I have no idea what the "peasant" part here means? In any case, I'm already wearing sarouel pants to parties, and I'm kind of addicted to the comfort now. I can only see a dress being better.

I have this theory that SRS is some sort of ill-tuned AI posting on thousands of different accounts at once. This hypothetical robot uses state-of-the-art technology developed by some of the top minds in the entire world to generate maximum butthurt with minimal effort. Wake up, qemist. The butthurt-matrix has you.

As a poly guy with (congenital) ED, I've always closely studied alternative sexual behaviors in search of something that would get me up. I haven't found that, but I've found something much more precious: intimacy, passion, and trust. For the dick, I basically binge on Cialis. Shamelessly. I had hang-ups about trying it, but once you're fucking away your worries it comes off as a great idea. For the record, I've been sexually active since I was 15, and have had ED ever since. I've tried TRP befo…

I take far more issue with Economics' place in public policy than with Feminism's!

Exactly. It's quite depressing, really. I thought academia would be this paragon of achievement, mankind's greatest, most ethical minds convening for the greater good. It's just this stupid fucking rat race where getting away with bullshit is about as good as actually innovating. This is not a problem with feminism, it's a problem with the institution called "academia".

To be honest I don't even know if I'm a moderate. I want equal legal rights for men across the board and no special privileges for women. Apparently that's pretty radical to most feminists. Being radical is not about what you want, but what you're willing to do to get it.

Look at this highly visible, completely insane feminist. When I see someone discount feminism wholesale, I know they've seen more than a few people act like this. The key is to consider that in the case of the overwhelming majority of feminists, they'll never bring it up. It's like saying that gays are too loud and flamboyant; the vast majority of gay people you'll ever meet will probably fly under your gaydar, and you will only remember the obnoxious ones.

If you don't think they hold the monopoly on feminist thought, then who does? The greater feminist community :) Where do you think concepts like "male-privilege," "mansplaining," "77 cents on the dollar," "1 in 4," "patriarchal oppression," etc. come from? Radfems, which are a scourge on men and feminists alike. Where is the voice in the feminist community criticizing the integrity of these claims, or even the vehicle or platform for someone to do so and be taken seriously? Here, there is an iss…

I think you hold academia in too high esteem. I'm myself a researcher, and there is a varying but significant amount of institutionalized fraud and intellectual dishonesty in the various fields of study. Some fields of study are basically based on those; fields like bioinformatics or literary analysis. In addition to this, there is a widespread tendency for scholars to use their position of power to weigh in on arguments they are not nearly knowledgeable enough about. Academic feminist theory ha…

Paglia has the problem that she conflates "some feminists" with "all feminists", and "all women" with "all feminists".

Claire Brétécher is a well-known French feminist, and she's also a well-known critic of feminism. I found her works intriguing, because on one hand they're clearly feminist literature, but on the other hand they're very critical of certain feminists, and she's not afraid to depict some women as shallow and irrational. She's subversive and smart.

That implies using the state to exact violence against individuals and businesses who continue to promote class and gender privileges. Not necessarily. Since the movement as a whole seems to be anti-government, this could be about removing gender-based legislature.

I would love to entertain your curiosity, unfortunately I am not a scholar of either libertarianism or feminism. A cursory google search turned up individualist feminism, which might just be what you're looking for.

If you look at the statistics for herpes it's quite safe to assume that a quarter to half of the room has some sort of STD whether you're in a nightclub, your workplace, church, etc.

You shouldn't call yourself a novice, by any scale I know. And, to be clear, this isn't about social circle - it's about location/setting. You can perfectly get random, quick, effortless NSA sex if you get your ass in a semi-private setting where you know no one. My best example was going to the Amnesty International congress: knew no one, and I think that actually helped me out.

Oh well. Still, keep that song in a folder or something. It's my ace in the hole for when things aren't moving with a girl.

If I was going to pretend, I'd probably go the whole mile and say shit like "I went to space, AMA" ;D E: also, tough crowds are just socially awkward people who cope with violence and machismo.

put yourself in the shoes of somebody with very little social life and the thought of talking to strangers and even attractive friends is crippling. Take acting lessons. Take acting lessons. Take acting lessons. More advice? Take acting lessons. Also, try to hang out with people you're not necessarily comfortable with (unless you feel like they're going to mug you!) because learning how different folks operate will give you a better view of society in general. I hung out with all the crowds, fro…

Free tip! This song melts the "good girls". I've used it more than once on prude/christian/already taken girls, with good results.

Glad you've lost weight dude. o_O that can really help your game. I don't feel any different after surgery, but people are treating me differently. Back then I used to hang out a lot with "badasses", people that'd beat your face in for no reason, and I was pretty much accepted as one of their own. That much helped me get laid. After I got surgery, for some reason the same "badasses" would treat me as a prey rather than as a fellow predator and I had to quit hanging out with them. Sucks, because …

Use smileys to convey non-verbal meaning. :P when you're playful, :( when she says something sad, :) when you're glad (to see her or otherwise), ;) when you want to convey innuendo, :X when the subject is touchy, o_O when she says something unexpected, XD = lol, ;D = rawr, ... = "oh no :(", ! = "how cool/look at me", :> = "neat", trailing letters = insisting. Every piece of punctuation and smiley ("emoticon") has its own meaning. In the end it allows her to read into your game. :P

Thanks, I guess! The bone structure is the result of massive reconstructive surgery - I used to look criminally retarded (but still got laid with hot chicks).

They don't know any hot girls who like them because they are socially awkward The secret is to treat them like bros. Won't get you laid, but at least you get attractive friends. As for skills and achievements... Let's say I like programming. I mostly do uninteresting things when I program, what's visually exciting about a virtual stock exchange or a code optimizer? Still, I'll write a program that does something funky and shiny and exciting ([someone else's example(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…

That's how it works for social circle game. Is it social circle game if you're in a house with fifty strangers and one friend? Because if so, that's what I play. It's not about who you know, it's about where you are - go alone to a war game/Model UN/College night, see your chances explode. I mostly dismiss cold-calling done in a fully public place, though it can still be done if something interesting is happening. When you see a pipe burst and the street flood, talk about it to the nearest hot c…

Anyone who deems himself "socially awkward" can better his fate by taking stimulants, such as caffeine. BOOM, you are suddenly extraverted and talkative, you can now go to town by saying everything that goes through your head and seeing what sticks. In effect, the only reason I did this AMA is because I ate half a pot of chocolate ice cream on top of my ritalin and dexedrine - I'd die right now if I wasn't interacting with people. So if you're a forever alone type, drink a couple cups of coffee …

If you're capable of making your intent to bang known in a way that doesn't give off rapist vibes The thing is, I can't. And I don't need to. I've said more about this in another comment, but once you've picked out the right girl, you basically ignore her until the two of you are alone together, and then you bang the shit out of each other. That's how it works. For the record, I call myself socially awkward because even though I've made miles of progress, all too often, I'll say something that f…

Do you cold approach? It entirely depends on the setting. Public setting (nightclub, dairy queen, general purpose hangout spots): not often. All else equal, this has the least chance to get you laid, or even a lasting friend. Still, it can be fun, and a time-killer. I've had approach anxiety before, but it's surprisingly easy to tame once you just tell yourself that you'll probably never see this person again. Just go up to her, blurt out whatever's on your mind. If you make it, great. If you do…

Let me begin by copying a comment I just submitted in another post... "Physical attributes: braces, being thin to athletic. Do it. Appearance: clothes, jewelry, accessories, haircut, manscaping, tanning. The first step is to ask a girl to fix you up and see where it takes you, that can last a few months to a few years. The second step is to disregard all that and make your own choices based on what gets you laid. As an example, when my hair is short I get told by tons of people that it looks gre…
