I think she was questioning the accuracy of the “women and children first” practice depicted in the movie Titanic, not the existence of the Titanic
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 10:25 PM

Who told you that wouldn’t be enough for most women?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 04:29 PM

Which of these jobs did you do?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 03:28 PM

It doubles your life expectancy?! Wow that’s amazing
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 03:16 PM

Depends on the day tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 03:07 PM
1

It’s probably easier to just find a woman who’s ok with you having a mistress tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/22 03:00 PM
2

Anybody can leave, it’s not a hostage situation
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/22 11:57 PM
2

That’s really shitty, and it’s sadly true a lot of people don’t take it seriously
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/22 11:42 PM
2

That’s so grim
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/22 11:38 PM
1

Hmm maybe. I’d be interested to hear from partnered men if that’s their experience as well
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 12:09 AM
3

No lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 11:56 PM
2

Not calling you a predator just surprised at your opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 11:36 PM
2

I’m surprised to hear this take from you
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 11:30 PM
2

Oh my 😉
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 09:44 PM
2

Were you wearing skinny 👖
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 09:37 PM

If it were designed by AI would that change your mind?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 12:19 AM

Say this system had a high accuracy rate, despite all the uncertainty. Would that change your view?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 11:53 PM

A bunch of data about you is fed into an algorithm that calculates the probability that you would get divorced if you were to marry (or remarry). That score determines who you’re allowed to date
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 11:52 PM
0

Porque no?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 09:59 PM

Q4All: Would you supports a system under which everyone adult is assigned a “divorce risk” score and people were only allowed to marry/date people with a similar score to minimize the risk of divorce?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 09:52 PM

HYPOgamy
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 05:49 PM

I’m not sure what you’re referring to
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 04:33 PM

Nice! Glad for you man
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 04:27 PM

Yes
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 12:45 AM

You’re worthy of love
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 10:50 PM
1

I wouldn’t like that. If he was significantly more attracted to other people and I knew it, I’d probably leave. Better for everyone that way
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 04:12 PM
1

Wouldn’t be an issue for me
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 04:08 PM
3

So you’re telling me you just discovered prostitution?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 08:17 PM

I’m describing the level of physical attraction between you and her so it doesn’t really matter what your specific type is
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 02:20 AM
1

Very true
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 01:54 AM
3

Q4All: Which is better, a marriage where 1) the physical attraction is extremely high and you get along pretty well or 2) you get along amazingly well and the physical attraction is pretty good?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 01:44 AM
5

I swear that’s 5 different people
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 01:21 AM
1

That’s a good one
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 01:20 AM

Must have been a bit of a shock to your teenage self haha

Ah the thrills of youth!

Q4All who use OLD: Is OLD a net benefit to your life? Why or why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 10:42 PM
1

Glad I was able to clear up the confusion
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 10:31 PM
2

Dating a bad person is worse than dating nobody, that’s true regardless of gender
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 09:49 PM
9

I said I thought you were missing the point, then I explained exactly what point I thought you missed. I guess you took that as a personal attack lol
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 09:42 PM
4

I think you missed the point, i.e that the availability of sexual encounters that you don’t actually want and wouldn’t enjoy is not privilege
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 09:14 PM

Not particularly. Wouldn’t say men are good at picking women either
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 09:48 PM

PPD is not a healthy place for children
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 08:01 PM

People talk shit all the time but I don’t see it as a significant aspect of competition for romantic partner tbh. It also seems like it would be a pretty ineffective approach, except maybe in high school, and could easily backfire
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 07:50 PM

Do you mean to be noticed by strangers, or also by people close to you (friends, family etc.)?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 06:48 PM

Healthy communication is an important skill. Sounds like your gf doesn’t have it
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 06:01 PM

Non sequitur
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 05:58 PM

Lol I just meant that the answer seems pretty obvious
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 05:34 PM

Lol is this a real question
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 05:11 PM

Better to call it off now than be miserable in marriage and end up divorced anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 05:08 PM

We keep the bedroom door locked. We’d both stay in the bedroom and probably barricade the door. He’d grab the bat that he keeps by the bed. I’d call the police and grab something else heavy. We’d try to scare or beat away the intruder away if they broke into the bedroom
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 04:46 PM

People shoot out of their league sometimes, and they usually end up disappointed. It is what it is
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/22 08:34 PM

I think there are sugar relationships where, rather than cutting a check, it’s more like you give the sugar baby a credit card that they can use to live a lavish lifestyle on your dime. Not that different than the dynamic in some marriages really
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/22 07:46 PM

What’s the difference between what you’re looking for and a sugar baby?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/22 05:56 PM

I was unaware of this aspect of trp
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/22 11:38 PM

Hmm could you prove and example? I think an 8 needs to be well above average in the face, and there’s not much people can do to improve their face without going to the doctor
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/22 11:17 PM

Short of getting surgery, I don’t think an average woman could become and 8
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/22 10:56 PM

It could happen!
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 02:00 AM

Yeah I saw some successful ones, but also unsuccessful ones so I didn’t have an overly rosy picture either
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 01:56 AM

Q4All: Did you grow up expecting for your romantic life to end with a happily ever after? Why or why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 08:47 PM
1

What you described as the present high school situation it sounds similar to what my high school was like when I graduated over a decade ago. Lots of people struggle socially and romantically in high school, this is not a new phenomenon
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/22 08:51 PM
2

Stupid games, stupid prizes
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/22 06:03 PM

I understand perfectly. If any woman dates Musk, hypergamy is proven because he’s richer than her and she choose to date him. Checkmate blue pill
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/22 05:56 PM
2

“I fucked the Queen”
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/22 05:12 PM
6

Terrible example. There isn’t a single woman in the world as rich as Elon Musk so literally any woman he’s with will be poorer than him
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/22 05:00 PM
1

Sure, I can appreciate that aesthetic
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/22 02:19 PM

That’s nice 😎☀️💃
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 05:48 PM

Wait which country has menstrual leave?! I gotta move there stat
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 05:41 PM
3

I think they’re saying it’s projection, unrelated to the brown eyes. Technically two blue eyed people can have a brown eyed child but it’s rare so understandable that one would be suspicious
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/22 03:00 AM
5

I don’t think anybody is saying the kids has brown eyes because the father cheated unless they really slept through Sex Ed lol
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/22 02:46 AM
3

Yeah online includes a lot of stuff. My cousin met his fiancé through gaming, which most would agree is a far cry from OLD
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/22 02:35 AM
5

Sounds like you’re saying most men struggle to find a satisfying and lasting romantic relationship. What I don’t understand is why people think that’s an easy to thing to achieve
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 04:59 PM
0

I haven’t seen you at the genderwar planning meetings lately 😠 I’ll have to report you to the high priestesses for disloyalty
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 04:30 PM
3

A true clairvoyant
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 04:27 PM
2

Yes, there are secret woman-meetings about it and everything
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 04:22 PM
2

No no no women secretly control society by colluding to manipulate men and bend them to their collective will, which they are programmed to do by BIOLOGY, and that’s why gynocentrism!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 04:09 PM
1

Logical enough
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 02:42 AM
1

Thanks for the response. I agree 100% that it’s best to only date people you’re actually into, won’t end well otherwise
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 02:38 AM
1

I actually mean based on your own perception, so did you have the feeling that the other person was above/below your league
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 02:31 AM
2

The worst fate
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 02:27 AM
2

What makes it worse to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 02:25 AM
2

Q4All: Which is worse, getting dumped by somebody who you thought was (a) out of your league or (b) below your league?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 02:14 AM
1

Ah I see! You’re joking
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 11:54 PM
2

What does acting like there’s other options look like?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 11:47 PM
3

Women don’t post on the Internet. Now that’s a take a haven’t heard before
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 11:46 PM
1

I don’t need to Google it lol. It’s an issue that survey experts deal with constantly, and can try to account for in a variety of ways. But if you are just universally against surveys as a source of information, by all means carry on. But let’s not pretend your anecdotal experiences are somehow more reliable
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 02:03 AM
1

No you’re saying exactly what I thought you were saying lol
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 01:39 AM
1

If you don’t trust the data because it doesn’t support your position, just say so. No need to get passive aggressive lol
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 01:23 AM
2

Is there data to back that up?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 12:44 AM
1

Yeah makes sense
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 12:25 AM
2

Literally never been asked about n count by a dude
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 12:21 AM
2

Men are unwilling to commit? Since when
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 11:59 PM
6

People who think they’re abnormal like hearing that they aren’t alone and aren’t as weird as they think. I’m sure plenty of people on PPD can relate to that
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 09:52 PM
2

Good luck with your anxiety and depression. Hopefully it won’t always be that way, I know people who struggled a lot when they were younger but are doing much better now
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 09:49 PM
2

Some reasons that come to mind are: survival and financial independence, wanting to be productive, having purposeful and structured life
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 09:43 PM
2

Being introverted makes it harder to date for sure, we tend to be less social which limits opportunities to meet and get to know potential partners. As an introvert who likes introverts, I learned quickly that I’d need to take initiate or it would never happen lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 09:31 PM
0

Can I ask you to name a few?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 09:28 PM

As in physically unattractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 09:27 PM

Q4All: Do you struggle to date? If so, why?

We need a rubric for Chaddom on here

Bold to assume he’s going to get anything other than his organs stolen

Any particular aspect?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 11:05 PM

Damn girl, you’re well endowed
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 10:55 PM

What aspect of it?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 10:53 PM

Size?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 10:52 PM
1

And what are they?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 10:52 PM
1

What kind?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 10:47 PM

Q4All: What’s the hottest thing (physical, behavioral, intellectual, whatever) about you?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 10:37 PM

It’s a pyramid scheme and your parents are the ones who recruited you. People are finally catching wise
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 11:08 PM
1

True dat lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 09:27 PM
3

I’m a woman
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 09:24 PM
1

Agree with everything you said. What I really mean by marriage material is somebody who has the skills and temperament to maintain a healthy and lasting marriage
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 09:24 PM
2

Thanks boo
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 09:20 PM
1

I assume you mean No Value Men/Women? I don’t think not being marriage material means you have no value
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 09:19 PM
1

I agree there isn’t one right way to do marriage, but there sure are a lot of wrong ways
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 09:18 PM
4

CMV: Most people aren’t marriage material
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 09:08 PM

It’s not that deep. People have decided sperm donation is good, so we allow donors to sever parental obligations to encourage it (not many would agree if they were on the hook for child support). Same goes for egg donation.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 08:33 PM

Don’t think it’s a common path/plan but I’ve know two women with this idea as a back up. They both ended up finding partners so it became a non-issue. At least one of them actually had the money to do it, not sure about the other one
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 08:25 PM
1

Ok, so if you find a famous woman who was a feminist before she was famous then that counts?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 07:44 PM

Which means…?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 07:40 PM

Why don’t famous people count?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 07:28 PM
4

I couldn’t care less that some woman sleep with a lot of dudes. Hasn’t ruined anything for me 🤷
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 05:54 PM

Google stock photos

Stayed together for a while then broke up
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/22 04:24 PM

Clarity is the key. Sometimes non-verbal cues are ambiguous, sometimes they are not. Initiating a sexual act for example is a pretty clear indicator of consent by the initiating party (absent a threat or something like that). The point is, don’t try to be a mind reader. If it’s ambiguous whether there is consent then get a clear answer
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/22 03:37 PM

The notion that women are contributing to rape culture by not being careful enough to to avoid getting raped is not a good argument. That’s just textbook victim blaming, nothing new or interesting about it
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/22 05:45 PM
3

Do you think the OP in that thread was really challenging rape culture, or was he just perpetuating it? One of his comment for your consideration. https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/ud567n/many_women_are_perpetuating_rape_culture_by_being/i6et8ui/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3

Love how OP also does the classic victim blaming comparison of a rich person getting mugged: https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/ud567n/many_women_are_perpetuating_rape_culture_by_being/i6et8ui/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3

Pretty tall that

I disagree. I’m quite capable of appreciating my fiancé without worrying that he’s going to leave me
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/22 05:10 PM

That sounds stressful :( but I also don’t think it makes you irrational. Anybody can get left. It sounds like you handle your anxiety about it pretty well and that’s all you can really do

/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 06:44 PM

Anybody who is confident they are a good person is questionable. Being a good person is something to aspire to and people committed to it are probably more aware of their shortcomings

Yeah I know what you mean I have one ex who I would consider dating again if I was single but even that one is kind of iffy
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 03:57 PM

Q4A: Based on their posts who do you guess is the hottest regular on here. If you’ve seen pics don’t say anything Edit: If you wanna say yourself, post a pic and let the people decide

Sure they met in school and were in similar social circles

Of course, if an acceptable compromise can be reached. But your original comment didn’t propose compromise did it

Or maybe they’re just incompatible and should break up. What you said can also be flipped. What if it’s important to him not to participate in capitalist holiday? What if it’s important to her not to do an sex act that she hates doing? Shouldn’t their partners be willing accommodate that? Maybe, or they can break up and find somebody more compatible

Yup never regretted leaving a relationship, only the fact that I waited so long

I guess it depends on the person. I know at least one lady who had it happen to multiple times, so it does happen

I don’t think that’s happened to me unless you count one guy who I casually dated but he wanted something serious. I lived in the US and was in my early 20s when that happened. The reverse never happened to me

Lol wut. Do you think Trump supporters are more insecure about getting cheated on than Clinton supporter? That’s an interesting take, completely unsupported but entertaining nonetheless

What a great example of confirmation bias. I love it

Not for me. Maybe for some other people it is though, I don’t know.

Some men are insecure about being cheated on. They’re exhausting so I tend to date the ones who aren’t worried about it

I doubt many on this thread have sufficient statistical knowledge to understand, even if they did read it. If they had even a high school level understanding of stats they wouldn’t immediately jump from correlation to causation. The lack of basic scientific literacy makes me sad

Wh-what? Are you saying that correlation doesn’t equal causation? There could be confounding variables? How dare you bring actual critical thinking skills here to PPD
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/22 04:24 PM

Beautiful, but only if it seemed plausible

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
