–	Why shouldn't a man feel insecure? I share OP's beliefs. At 40-50 previous partners (which is not an unbelievable number nowadays for a woman), the chances of me (as a 51st partner) representing something special for the woman is small. When I screw up (as is inevitable in any relationship for either of the two persons), what's more likely to happen, given the high number of partners?
