I've tried out some of the styles in his book and I would honestly choose a style based on the necessities in the moment. There are some situations when being a charmer works well, others when you shouldn't be trying to charm. I personally see the styles as the gadgets on Batman's belt

Hmm yes you're right. My statement still stands regardless. If you act out of needing external validations, you can be easily played like a puppet. If you act out of the belief that you don't need to impress people and you are ENOUGH, you'll be much more genuinely confident

Ego is in a sense, how you want others to see you. When you're egotistical rather than confident, you're easily moved by other people's reactions and opinions. When you're confident, others can still anger you and make you sad but it doesn't affect who you are and how you see yourself (doesn't necessarily have to be realistic 😉)at the core.
