I don't see anything about "mens mental health" or even those words in it except in the last sentence. You ramble about being abused, complaining to HR then being "forced" to resign. I hear what you going through....get out of your funk and just concentrate for a second.... 1) Why are you expecting an attorney to take your case without a substantial retainer? You pay the grocer for milk. When you take your car to the garage, do you say you want an oil change for free? No. You don't. The lawyers are making about 400 an hour. We did a workforce assessment on her and 60k was the outcome. She claimed that she could never work again at 40 years old. I went to High School in Burlington County (upper part). 1	A dad complained that the local court basically makes it impossible for him to represent himself, and one example is that the links on the local web site to obtain self representation forms do not work, and when he complains they tell him he must obtain an attorney. Just a piece of non-legal advice......the above is not going to work. Also, nobody should give you a lawyer for free. 1) Do you walk into a Garage and say I want a free oil change? (People will laugh at you). 2) Why expect someone who has spent 1/4 million dollars in education to make a living to get something for free? 3) It is a specialty, treat it as such. For lending purposes and for housing (renting an apartment), you are limited to 40 percent of your gross income. Many times, the alimony and child support gobble up the 40 percent of your gross income so even if you earn 300k or more, you are above the 40 percent level of deft with only the child support and alimony.. 2	My Alimony finally ended today! - Alimony is such an unfair situation…AMA Congrats on filing ending the alimony. I was in NJ as well. I had 14 years of marriage and got hit with 14 years of alimony at 6500 per month plus child support. During 2008, I lost my job and found another making 150k per year. I was told by the judge that I was under employed. My argument was that I was making more than the judge! He had double the amount of time as a lawyer than I did.
