I'd rather have my girls want to please me. Want to dress up pretty for me, because they know that I like it. I'm not sure you've reasoned through what an obligation is and how it makes anyone feel. You are obligated to perform for your boss at work, in the bedroom for your g/f obligation is a death sentence. But, whatever works for you brother

No, ancient teachings are NOT timeless. They had their period of relevance. The challenge will always be "Does this wisdom still apply?" That is what wisdom is; experientially applied intelligence. Again I'm not saying that what you are stating is wrong, but to look for answers to modern problems through the filter of a principle that is 3000 years old may be misguided.

Great read my friend! Speaking of association and neural plasticity, I see a lot of ancient associations in your writing; have you read any contemporary philosophy? You may be surprised by how far it has come in 2700 years. Im not implying that the Fabulist teachings of Aesop have no value, but surely you can appreciate that his society and ours are vastly different.

What? you think traveling is feminine? Traveling is a great way to meet women, and gather some life experience. Women talk (type) men Do (travel).

We agree somewhat. I think that silence is the wrong word for your theory. The skill is not "being" silent, but knowing when to not fill the air with verbal diarrhea. That skill is also knowing when Bravado might be the best route. I think Men need to work on "reading the room"in any social situation, and to quickly decide and implement whatever mode of communication they need that would best suit their goals. Loud silence is ridiculous.

"It’s the stillness of a warrior before he strikes..." Is it stillness or silence? I think you have thought way too much about the word silent. A person who is silent does not speak up, they are silent. The "stillness" of a warrior is not silence it is stillness. It may or may not be silent. Keeping your mouth shut for a short period is not silence. How exactly does one make their silence the loudest? Sounds like pointless posturing . I agree that one need not fear solitude, you make lots of gre…

You are coping. that's the point. Analyzing the cause; and hamstring an answer doesn't change that; even if the rationale sounds better to you, they always will. -Sorry for offending Alpha Giga Chad. I bet you get soooo many chicks bro- Defensive much? he just called you on your BS.

That's right, you don't test yourself to reaffirm your manhood. You put yourself through a crucible of sink or swim, to actually make yourself better, tougher, smarter, faster, whatever the goal is. You are a wrong soft boy. Go ahead keep playing a man, you'll get there eventually. Actually, probably not. Then when I (or any actually men) show up on your beach and you see your slob of a GF start drooling from both ends; It will all become clear. See you at the next Arctic sled drag. Stay Strong,

Why can't It be about chasing danger? I was a firefighter, every fire was a battle, a battle in arms with my brothers against nature's wrath. I sought this challenge. I frequently test my mettle against the dead cold of -40 winter, sled dragging axe chopping etc. this is dangerous, but it teaches. You gotta know to go. There is a difference between danger and stupidity, punching the lead dude in a MC gang at a club is stupid. Use that shit between your ears gents. Get done what calls for you. St…

moving your body with intention is painful? ie exercise. Learning and expanding your thought process and intelligence is painful? ie reading. your perspective is fucked dude. You have not truly suffered if these normal things bring pain and suffering. uncomfortable, maybe.

Most of these are not suffering, they are challenges. reading is suffering? exercise is suffering ? no no no no. Winning an internal battle is suffering? What ?

Interesting post, thought provoking for sure. If you spend your life making the perfect sandwich, there needs too be someone to take a bite. Statistically not everyone can be creators. As creators we need an audience. If your natural inclination is to consume, work can be done to reverse this role, but if you don't naturally need to create, you may just be an unfortunate existential deer. Whoops, thanks universe!

do you think that the commander comes home and commands his subordinates to fuck his wife? or the sniper shoots his load from across the room accounting for air currents? No? they both get home and fuck the shit out their wives because they are confident Men who know what they want, and their wives respect and submit to them.

You say "I'd love to caress a women." This sounds like you've never touched one, let alone made her jelly. What he is writing about, is fucking a women the way she wants to be fucked, not caressing her and ,mumbling like Salad fingers.

I find that something as simple as hand washing the dishes gives me 10 min to reflect. I like to jam self reflection in with mundane goal oriented tasks, washing, cleaning, organizing. This is jet fuel for my creative bonfire brain.
