It's a remnant of patriarchal civilization, when men had to get a wife and have children in order to build a lasting legacy.

I was just thinking about this last night and it's completely true.

Indian women in previous generations were at least decent or good. Partly due to general economic poverty, and partly due to no degenerate society existing at the time. Very difficult to properly vet a woman these days. Even if they appear decent prior to marriage, who knows what's in store afterwards.

My guess as to why this hasn't been banned yet is that some of the higher Reddit employees have a soft spot if not MGTOWs themselves.

I’ve started just focusing on myself, and you can tell it’s already causing problems with the people who grew accustomed to me always being reliable and there for them, while most were never there for me... And always did what was best for them wether in the short term or long term... I would say that one exception to this is never to live from the perspective that everyone is like this. It's just too nihilistic. It gives me hope and joy that there are people like you out there who operate on mo…

As a result, I've become more and more "safe" over the years. I don't let anyone in, physically or mentally. I likely feel how most 80 something year old men feel - tired and annoyed of all of the bullshit that is going on in the world around them. I can relate. Really sad state of affairs when young men can have no faith in society just because we have a basic level of moral standards.

Should probably replace "non-monotheistic" with "atheistic". There are plenty of polytheistic cultures with strong patriarchy.

Watch Kengan Ashura. It's fucking great. Dorohedoro is also another really good show, there's two main characters one male one female but the female is actually well written.

Even if you marry a low-N count woman, because of the way gender dynamics have changed over the years and the notion of equality is so strong in society, your wife is not going to be sweet and pleasant to live with. What is even the point in marrying at that point? I'm not interested in marrying a man with a vagina.

I really hope this happens. Maybe it'll wake some normies up.

We were born on this planet to grow and learn. Committing to used goods that don't care about the sanctity of their body is most definitely not our fate.

Tbh based on her story she does deserve to be angry, but what we don't know is how she treated him during the course of their marriage.

It's not because of men disengaging from politics, it's culture (movies, music, tv, academia) from the top down being controlled by a select few who dictate the daily cultural experience of people.

Her question is presupposed on the premise that it's OK to act dishonorably and without principles; e.g., ending a loving relationship with a "kind" man, in order to indulge in hedonism and decadence. This girl is more messed up than a mad dog shitting on a frozen pond. It's not just her, it's society. This is the inevitable end result when there's no patriarchy.

I really think hard that this is not what I want to be 15-20 years down the line, a bald, pot-bellied uncle overworked to death with a fat wife who rarely talks properly to me. I shall break the cycle. Good on ya man. What are your plans and goals?

Yup. Also they completely shit on Morty's dad in an insidious way. But even ignoring that, the humor was garbage and the story was pretty uninteresting.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
