I hear you! Was debt free before my unexpected divorce and put the payout on my previously unused credit line, in addition to seeing my monthly bills double (no kids though). Sorry man, probably not the answer you want to hear she’s checked out from what I’m reading. There’s no coming back. I certainly wish you the best but telling you this as someone whose wife checked out (seemingly out of the blue to me) after 11 years together and no apparent issues.

I stayed in the house and used my line of credit to do the payout. I love the neighbourhood and didn’t want to leave. One thing I’ll mention is that I completely redecorated the place, in my style, from top to bottom pretty much right away. So it’s the same house, but looks a lot different on the inside which helped me a lot staying here.
