I'm sorry but as a male who is one class away from starting clinical teaching I have to argue against your idea that all teachers are one way. Education is very diverse and has changed greatly over the last few years. Probably the biggest difficulty comes from combating parents that dont know any of the material. Students dont care because their parents dont care and it runs off. If everyone started homeschooling it would be the worst drop in academics we've ever seen.

So the wife is a new teacher and spends most of her "off" time grading or lesson planning so I am usually the one doing the shopping or running errands with our 1y old son. I honestly see a major difference in how people treat me when I am alone vs with him. Even when I obviously have a free hand or the child is not fussy or anything they often want to grab the door or let me go ahead of them if we come at almost the same time.

I never have razor burn or ingrown hairs since I swapped to a trimmer. Best decision in my life. I use to have to spend hours of my week picking out ingrown hairs.
