Umm.. moving to a different state isn't all that easy. Plus if your wife leaves you, takes the kids, and moves to a different state with more favorable divorce laws that should be a pretty good indicator that maybe you should file for divorce. Your wife won't be able to take advantage of the more favorable divorce laws until she becomes a resident of her new state which takes 6 months to over a year.

Lawyer Here - this is B.S. Divorce laws are totally state dependent. For example in Texas there is no right to alimony regardless of the reason for the divorce. Generally speaking you can protect the assets you have before entering into marriage but cannot protect the assets you acquire after entering into marriage.
