Of course he should! My husband was with me the entire two days I was in labor, and with our daughter and I when we were transferred to another hospital for the following week with complications. I NEEDED him there. Also, the first night our daughter was alive I had to stay in our hometown and she had to be in a hospital in a different city. She needed him with her. I can't believe anyone could argue that they shouldn't be allowed.

Me too, unless I was like "I'M HORNY WE SHOULD HAVE SEX". I mean, if they were sober and I said that I know they would say "No, you're drunk", but if we are both drunk and both want to have sex, I see no problem in it. Even now that I'm married, if I wanted to have sex with my husband I would be pretty disappointed if he said no just because we'd been having drinks.

As a former alcoholic, I know. Which is why I know it's such bullshit. I had sex plenty of times that I woke up, looked over and was like ... WELL THEN. Mostly with good friends of mine, when I would tell them I was blacked out they would have the same reaction. "Wow, you black out early, how do you keep drinking for so long after that? You were up for hours, I never would have guessed." That doesn't make them rapists. That makes me a drunk who has zero impulse control.

As a pregnant woman I can tell you NO ONE would be on a 410 calorie diet a day if they were pregnant, unless they had imposed it on themselves. Which, if they were doing, would mean they were knowingly endangering their unborn child. I guess her drinking was also doing that.

Egalitarian. I used to say feminist, but most feminism is too quickly becoming radical feminism. The nice feminists who point out blatant sexism/obvious fallacies in feminism get told they are victim blaming, women hating, misogynists. Feminists like that do exist, but they are silenced within their own movement.
