There's stuff not visible in the pictures that really is a problem, like completely flat back of head, and short-stocky limbs, and absolutely zero shape (people joke about round being a shape - I don't have hips, tits, shoulders, so. I look a bit like a deflated water balloon, sort of) I don't have an attractive face, but it's not recoil-and-vomit worthy - the full package sort of is. But I should start caring again. I used to, but it never seemed to help - more like "makeup on a pig" or comedic…

No, commonly I just get the whole spiel about how it must be because of me hunting men way out of my league, and refusing to lower my standards. My last actual relationship was with an unemployed alcoholic who still wouldn't even fuck me - I'm not sure how much lower I can go ;)

Matter of taste, I guess. I have had several friends inform me (as nicely as possible) that I should be happy that I'm smart and nice, because no one is going to take any interest in my appearance. For the past 30 or so years, it's been proven over and over again. I've had pretty good luck with men I've gotten to know, but if only based on first impressions, they don't even look at me.
