The problem is the system is too justice related than outcome related. We’ve based it on saying that men should have repercussions for impregnating a woman when there is a clear risk to the woman (an abortion is still a risk to women emotionally and sometimes medically). I’m currently pregnant. It was planned and me and the father really want it. But I have hyperemesis and I’m on lots of medication. The sickness is making me so tired and unable to work. I have been dehydrated and only just avoided hospitalisation. If this was unplanned, I would have had an abortion (this is my second pregnancy so I knew the risks).
