Tell the truth. Lying or exaggerating will only cause problems later. I don’t think it a mark of boredom, but a mark of interest. They wouldn’t bother asking if they weren’t somewhat interested.

Thing is, those ideas related to non-white exoticism are generally tied far rightist fetishism in the USA. They definitely don't come from a healthy place most of the time, but from a twisted horny racist one. There is a reason why the most common search terms for porn in the old Confederate states are race-based. The problem isn't as bad in the EU/Europe in most nations, but in some, like Poland, Hungary, and Serbia...it's really bad.

Light skin is seen as a positive to such a degree in some countries that skin bleaching industries and dark-skin-based stigmas are a thing. It is particularly bad in South Korea, Japan, and most of India.

There are heavy stigmas related to dark skin in some parts of Asia. It got so bad in South Korea at one point that a detergent company had a commercial where a black guy went into the washing machine and a Korean guy came out. If a nation in Asia has a skin whitening industry, odds are it has a similar stigma pattern.

Rejection is irrelevant to me unless I’m in love with the person doing it. Thankfully that has never been a problem. I’m lucky enough in love now that I have three, nearly four long term partners who all have powerful feelings for me. I’m ethically non-monogamous, so they all know everything about each other and how our interactions have gone. A bit of advice: Stop hunting and become the bait. Rejection isn’t going to happen if they’re coming to you. Your more aggressive style is throwing people…

If I had to guess I'd say OP is an online article writer posting about their own article.

Getting out of the house there and in like places means walking into a toxic as hell environment most of the time. In our cases (people from like places) staying in can lead to more success.

I'm just used to a ton of people knee jerking and calling it entirely negative, so I present it as a positive. I get told over and over again that it can't be done in a stable and meaningfully positive way (can't be done right), so I say out loud that I have pulled it of, therefore it can be pulled off. I'm from AL and have to deal with the far right there, so forgive how it came across. It wasn't meant that way, but as a counter to the deep negativity that I constantly have hurled at me (to the…

It is possible to fully love more than one person at a time Not everyone fits into monogamy and people who don't fit but try anyway invariably hurt others who do

I tend to do a lot better starting online. Got me two of my three long-term partners along with a sub and soon a fourth partner, so I must be doing something right. #Polyam I agree with others here though: approaching people you're attracted to at work is a bad idea. I've seen that go VERY wrong for others in a lot of ways, almost always resulting in one or both people leaving the job (sometimes voluntarily, sometimes because one or both were fired).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
