Bisexual man chiming in here Some like it, some don’t. I’m very well aware that some ladies like gay men more than anything because they feel he won’t behave sexually predatory to her. That is not applicable to bisexuality. Some women are turned on by the thought he likes men too & on some level can relate to how it feels to date men. As you mentioned yes there is biphobia or misconceptions that sexual orientation predetermines his outlooks on other aspects of life which are largely untrue.

Some of the sexpat destinations rank very high for womens equality - you’d be surprised I know ladies who told me they felt they were far safer walking the street at night in Abu Dhabi than in England

It’s easier to get laid in Thailand & the Philippines - it’s not like women are treated worse in those cultures, this is cope.

Guessing women who use vibrators or dildos are uniquely exempt from this mentality then?

The world would be a boring place if people more successful than us were immune to our criticism A lot of people rip on Bill Gates, Zuckerberg & Elon Musk for the way they live their life - even if they have a minuscule fraction of a percentage of the wealth they own.

Unless of course the nuance that I’m reading into this is that it’s a one way street & that men suggesting to a woman to smile has some sort of misogynistic possessive connotation to it whereas it doesn’t when a woman is saying it to a man? I don’t think I’ve ever told a woman to smile, then again I’m far from the most socially literate person. Her facial expression, her problem. When ladies have said it to me, it was literally “You have nice teeth - you should smile more.” or “You don’t look ve…

I’ve been told to smile more (by ladies) & I’m a dude - I didn’t have a cynical perception of it. I really don’t understand this. It’s written by people who spend too much time on the internet. Doesn’t reflect day to day human interaction. Just being real with you. 🤷‍♂️

Porn actors? I watched a documentary where a woman stated “I used to work in Walmart stacking shelves, now I’m a prostitute - & I prefer being a prostitute”. There’s bodily risks involved for doing paid medical research trials, stunt-work or joining the army. Australia has a good model for sex work that to a large degree curbs the amount of sexual harassment, human trafficking, exploitation, STD risk. There’s loads of human trafficking & organized crime in the jewel industry - that doesn’t mean …

Surely they’d be sympathetic for us then & implement societal changes that are meant to bridge the disparity between our sexual needs?

Couldn’t that logic be applied for anyone you’ve ever paid to do literally any job ever? “I’m a human being with feelings! And here you are paying me to fix the pipe under your sink!”

I was an ‘incel’ (not misogynistic or toxic type) when I was younger & at college, by my mid twenties I had a reputation for being a player. By age 27 I was in a committed relationship with a prom-queen. I wouldn’t have said my personality changed at all between these ages. What if everyone he knows is either in a relationship already or he’s not interested in? It’s quite possible. I know plenty of down to earth chill people who eventually let on they were virgins until they were well into their…

I saw a video, a YouTube video, social experiment where they got two models, a man & a woman, to ask 100 people for sex to count how many said yes. The woman got 30/100, and even then, a lot of the guys stated they only said no because they already have a girlfriend or because they knew it was too good to be true The man, 10/10 handsome 6 foot ridiculous & Hollister model body - needed to ask 200 women until one said yes, & even then, tons of women took a swing at him or threw a drink in his fac…

Bisexual male here Another men approach me often to tell me they find me hot - I’ve had less luck with the ladies, some women have rejected me very rudely when I did nothing wrong & some called me ugly I would say only a relatively small percentile of men are good looking enough that they can attract people with minimal effort or having good interpersonal skills Hence why they tend to invest a lot on say their professionalism skills to increase their sexual market value Whereas a sizable percent…

Interesting point - but it’s (generally speaking) MUCH easier for women & I appreciate why that might make men feel envious. Women sometimes complain that they feel envious of men having other advantages in life, don’t they? Context: I’ve got a pretty high N-count, I’m a dude. One of my FWB has a similarly high one. Even she once stated she’s completely understanding that it was a lot harder for me to get so many notchs on my bedpost compared to her.

No it’s because it’s a lot easier for women (there’s plenty of research that confirms this) & I appreciate why that might make men feel envious. Not to mention - a high body count may seem to suggest (not always I guess) they may have cheated at least once. I’m a man & my ex-gf was very upset by my N-count (not that high but I think maybe it’s deemed high in her culture perhaps)

lol - they say that the sexual revolution was slightly diminished once the AIDS pandemic happened because it reintroduced the risk/reward of sex even though pregnancy was accounted for - people died & there was no cure. Then condoms became more popular again which as a happy accident prevent AIDS- and in part, contributed to the notion that it’s also the man’s responsibility to use contraceptives (I was explicitly taught in sex ed that it was). It’s worth considering condoms don’t prevent the ri…

This phenomenon is not exclusive to the male gender, my sex ed teacher stated his grandma assumed babies came out of the woman’s belly button

Yes & likewise no one is entitled to housing, food or money - it doesn’t mean it won’t adversely affect them if they can’t attain it. In South Africa - no one is entitled to education or schooling, in the USA no one is entitled to healthcare. And it’s absolutely disastrous for their societies.

Could prostitutes refuse service? Yes. People are refused service in restaurants & shops - what’s your point? I am a man who once escaped poverty. I also overcame being an incel to eventually having a reputation for being a “player” (hey her words not mine) - & I am stating to you, they have a lot more in common than you’d care to admit.

“Entitled” is a deliberately loaded term. Okay - take the housing & food. Where does that come from? It takes someones labour to build or grow it. They require wages so that they can support themselves. If you grow your own food & build your own housing, then that’s fine. You’d be surprised. Sex has multiple benefits on ones health. I went from being a high-school ”incel” but I’ve now slept with at least around 25 women before I lost count. One of my exs was a prom queen & one hook-up used to da…

Maybe as simple as “It doesn’t affect me, not my problem. That affects you, your problem. On the other hand that one affects me so instead I care”.

“Human-rights” are an arbitrary human construction. I still have to pay at the grocery store & pay rent to my landlord, there’s no 100% free provider of those in my country. Someone made local news in my town for claiming using his vape pen was a “human right”. No one is obliged to put out but it’s important not to be flippant & unsympathetic about how lacking an intimate relationship can adversely affect someone’s mental health.

Would a guy who’s not had much luck with the ladies have a more cynical opinion about modern dating? Yes, maybe. People who have cynical opinions about capitalism are usually poor & hate their job, what’s your point?

1 - Teach courtship etiquettes & skill in schools as part of sex ed. All we learnt about was “avoid pregnancy, wrap it up”. 2 - Legalize prostitution & subject it to a lot of safety optimization regulations.
