Perhaps, but you don't think the girl would have to end up being significantly less attractive than the guy or the girl would easily cheat and hop to a different guy now?

plenty of average people in the world who have girlfriends and wives I don't think you understood my point. The average guys can be outcompeted heavily now and the average girls will simply go for the much superior guys because they actually have the option to do so. The rest of the guys have to heavily overcompensate in other ways.

No one is perfect and has everything, but certain factors can compensate for other factors that you lack, and attract different type of people It's more like a competition, the more a guy has the higher up he will be on girls desirability list. Some genetic traits like a good face and height will significantly bump them up several points compared to a well groomed guy that worked his rear off to get to where he's at.
