When I say ask her out I mean come up with a witty way to say "We should go for drinks or X activity sometime". Not "Do you want to go on a date with me". The reality is she is your co worker and you arent 100% sure what her intentions are. You cannot kino her or escalate in any meaningful way (beyond playful sexual banter) until yiu get her in a different setting. Thats what I mean by date.
