I would say that the state should require bare minimum and good parents will then contribute more on a direct and voluntary basis.

To be fair, /u/Hjalmbere didn't say they had to "love every second", he said that he found it a turn off when women act as though a lack of skill is a virtue.

I agree with your argument on all counts, but, being an American,I have never once worried about someone pulling a gun on me if I tried to stop a bad situation. I think the gun thing is a bit over blown.

i hear lots of people say "yeah i love adele but she's just not that attractive," but never the same about a male artists of the same level of success. Could this be because when these men who are not (physicaly) attractive, they gain some points for being good at what they do?

If you have to go so far back to be before it being regulated by society then community size precludes secret sluttiness.

Obviously not Nightwing, but as someone on the red side of the spectrum; 1) A good home maker, not because "traditional gender roles or bust" (I personaly prefer that, but its not my point here), but because it shows she is good mother material. If I am going to LTR/wife that, I will want children. Personaly, as a man, my gut feeling is that when I see a woman who can cook a decent meal and keep a clean house(nesting), is that she would make a good mother. 2) One or two hobbies/pass times that s…

Thats not whats being said there. But if you are attractive and young and we go out with you and find that you are a talented oil painter then we will probably consider you GF material rather than just a plate. Its a comparison between two body types, one attractive with interesting talents, and one not attractive with interesting talents. The hot girl who can also paint just gets bonus points for the painting, but we would already want to get to know her. The fat post wall mother gets some poin…

The major problem with the way the military works when it comes to the cycle of endless junior enlisted marriages is the pay raise you get when you take on dependents, coupled with being about to move out of the barracks and live off base, it can be all to tempting. This pay bonus is, for some lower pay grades, twice their yearly base pay.

That's true, but it doesnt keep you from being in competition with them. In fact, not knowing next man is doing is all the more incentive for me to be better. Not sure where you stand in the competition? Then it's time to up your game.

It is competition, but not panicky or rash. Chess is a competition, though only against one person, but a competition. No one would call it panicky or rash, unless you play panicky or rash.

I agree with this in general but again I don't think that life is wonderful for girls. Not saying it's harder than it is for guys, but it's not easy for mediocre looking girls that aren't too feminine. True, but mediocre girls with a little work on themselves become attractive. They do something with their hair, put on some makeup, choose the right clothes and wear a nice scent and all of a sudden they are "worth" more. Men have to put in a lot more work, usually in multiple areas, not just look…

From a mans perspective, women may not mind earning more, but we do. If its a cultural bias, or a biological imperative to provide, not providing is an ego hit that will wear on most any man.

Hey brother, I am obviously outside looking in on this, but those qualities dont come grouped together all to often, especialy if she is well pre-wall. You put her in check this time, and she obviously caved. Give it some time before you throw LTR out the window if thats the relationship type you prefer. As someone said above, you dont need to be Mr. Fix-it, but you may have been already by holding frame like that. As far as crazy goes, she seems less than normal, but that of course is just my o…

Binary means composed of two pieces or two parts, you are talking about Binary Numbers, which are a separate system.

Just be clear that you have no interest. Knowing firmly what a womans's view is on you is really all we are after. Yes? Great. No? No hard feelings. Cant control how other people feel about you.

Biologicaly, yes. But as a man who has played the single game for four years, there is an apeal to haveing a stable home life after a while. I expect to be able to pull a high value parter, so I dont know if its "settleing" rather than settleing down.

I am a man who asked a question here a few months ago, and I will try and lay out why I chose RPW. I was asking where one might find a RPW, if there were any common denominators of sorts that would help me. It seemed better to ask here, where there is a community of them. They know each other a bit and would be able to answer my question better than TRP saying just keep going through women until you find one you want to keep on a bit longer. (These are my best recollections of my thoughts leadin…

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_triad Scroll down to the mateing stratagy bit. Perhaps the term is being used differently now, but it doesn't seem to be equal to Alpha, at least, not to me.

Guy here, unless the color job is done well, keep it natural. Bad color jobs are just as bad as bad hair cuts. IMO at least.

I would say that the cost of the dog is repaid to you by the dog being what it is. A psycological aid. Dogs are great. we love dogs. The dogs love is worth more than the cost. Its not a real drain, but an investment.

Is that not what RP is all about, returning to traditional rolls that both genders seem to be designed for? Still new to the idea, so I may be off.

Great example! Thanks! I was personally horrified by that the first time I saw that. And I don't know if I would be able to post that online and let people know that I even associated with someone like that, male or female, friend or SO. Kudos to him for his patience I guess.

How did letting go of your friends and family effect you? How did your husbands family view you when all of this happened? I hope to use redpill a lot more in my next relationship, I was probably only halfway there before, mostly from pressure of sociable norms, and fear that I would drive women away if I was to inflexible.

Thanks. As a RPW who is single, how do you plan on finding a man that you would trust to put so much of your life into their hands? Perhaps your answer will help me identify potential RP ideas in women easier.

Thankyou for your reply. I am not sure why you were downvoted, but I am assuming it is because of your other posts on this sub. While finding a woman who would love to be a sahm is not a great challenge in itsself, it still presents the problems I watch all my friends and colleuges go through when they return to port or from a deployment to Afgahnistan. Which is for so many of the domestic burdens that the wife had to deal with alone, are quickly dumped on the husband under the pretenses of "its…

You talk about not being ashamed. How much backlash, or pressure to conform to today's perceived norm do you experience?

Thanks for the reply! And yes, be careful around military wives. Most get married to their husband out of high school or there about, and end up trapped in that mentality because they tend to surround themselves with others like themselves.

Nah, most end up impregnating a uniform chaser and are stuck with her, or they get married early becuase the military gives extra benefits to married men and women.

A lot of us are, because a lot of us are 18-20 and dont know what we want out of life. After a few years of that lifestyle I'm burnt out on the hook up scene.
