I doubt it. I think it's because it's not a hip disease, like AIDS isn't. You get breast cancer, you will have armies of people to give you free stuff, look after you and say how brave you are etc. etc. and that's not necessarily a bad thing but it's not fair that it's only the "cool" diseases.
